The location is excellent, right in the heart of Bayonne and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the main attractions. The property itself is charming and the location was definitely the highlight of our stay.
There is no air conditioning, and the apartment gets very hot, especially at night. Opening the windows brings in mosquitoes and other insects. There was also a very strong unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom drain, which was quite noticeable during our stay.
The amenities were also very limited. Only a body soap was provided, with no shampoo or hand soap. The black towels were also not ideal from a hygiene perspective, as it is difficult to assess their cleanliness.

Location , historical charm.
Be aware there’s no elevator if you have luggage, it’s an old historic building ( not negative, just to be aware off). Limited breakfast and breakfast hours.
