Lovely Cwtch Hut, idealistic location for a little getaway. Cosy, welcoming and clean

Very welcoming, cosy, excellent location with beautiful sunsets. Very clean with all that you need for a short break in this area. Love that they welcome doggy’s too. The facilities were very clean as well.

Not much! Although the sofa bed is little uncomfortable- but that’s just preference (mum had a lovely sleep in the bed).

Excellent location for exploring North Wales. Beautiful views and the farm is so quiet and peaceful. There is an enclosed dog field which was perfect for our two dogs

Fab peaceful farm getaway

Cwtch Winnie was so peaceful, comfortable and a great getaway for the weekend, chip my dog especially had a soft spot for Winnie the resident black lab, i loved how the dogs were ok to roam around the field, great base for exploring nearby Llandudno and Conwy plus we had great weather to really top it off..

Relaxing 2 days with beautiful places to visit nearby

Location was fabulous. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. To live in a property next to a field with sheep was so different and fun

Very good

This was such a relaxing break. In the countryside with no interruptions. We had lovely weather during our stay which made it just perfect. However, had it been cold and wet that would have been a different story. The caravan was clean and cosy and suited our needs for a short break. The owner was friendly and helpful and brought 2 new patio chairs for us to sit out in the sunshine on. The two dogs he has were well behaved and winnie the black lab cane to sit with us several times.

The shower wasn't working properly but that wasn't a problem as there was a communal shower and loo on site which was very roomy.

Peace and quiet with an outstanding view. The caravan is lovely and cosy, the dogs were very friendly and often popped round to see you. Approachable and friendly staff, I hope to come back soon. Most enjoyable.

Mum and daughter stay

What can I say! We loved every part of our stay here at the shabby chic caravan. Its a little gem tucked away in the countryside of Abergele. When your there it feels like you are miles from anywhere its so peaceful surrounded by fields and beautiful scenery yet only a short drive to the nearest town. Everywhere is easily accessible from the site and the scenery along the way is breathtaking. Medwin was a fantastic host as was Winnie the dog who my daughter became quite attached to. Medwin is so knowledgeable about the area and places to visit. Tell him where you are planning to go and he will advise the best route taking in the other places and scenery along the way. The caravan is beautiful, perfect for 2 with comfy beds, a private shower and toilet and all the essentials you will need. You also have use of the on site shower and toilet if you fancy something with a bit more power and space. There's a lovely deck outside the van to sit and take in the views and a chimenea which we couldn't get going ourselves but with the help of Medwin we had up and running to toast marshmallows. You will not regret staying here. We will definitely be back, in fact my daughter didn't want to leave!

Great city escape

The host is excellent and the farm is in a great location. It is nice to have some time out of the city and the crowd. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful rainbow and shiny stars during our stay.

The bed is smaller than single and the mattress is not well maintained. I'm not sure what's the material used but you can feel the body shape of the previous guest(s)... Also at night if the heater is on, it will be tooooo warm and dry inside the caravan while very cold if turn it off.

A wonderful peaceful welcoming place to be.

Amazing views, very clean and welcoming.

An amazing time with amazing views all round us. Caravan was exceptionally clean, and the family were so very welcoming too, especially their dog Winnie. I think our dog has made a friend for life. We couldn't ask for a more relaxing get-away. Will definitely be returning.

From beginning to end we were made to feel extremely welcome at Pen Cefn farm stay. The location is beautiful .At the end of a day out you return away from the hustle and bustle to the sound of Sheep,Hens and Ducks. Medwyn is a great host backed up by his 2 lovely dogs Winnie and Benny who greet you when you return .

Loved the caravan's facilities and comfortable interior. We had everything we needed and couldn't really ask for more. Our hosts were incredible and helped us massively with our wet gear.

100% perfection.

Winnie! We're checking our diary dates for when we can return. Peace and tranquility. I booked the Shabby chic caravan after my daughter had emergency surgery and I had to cancel our original plans for a city break. It was so relaxing. Good therapy. The location was great, in the middle of the countryside, on a working farm, yet only a short drive to numerous places. The caravan had been lovingly refurbished to accommodate all your needs. Just pack your own towels. I'm used to camping, so had brought various items that were already provided for. We had our own Chimnea but didn't use. Loved having our meals outside on the picnic bench. Medwyn is lovely. Nothing is too much trouble and he has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Pen Cfen Farm accommodation is absolutely perfect. It's one of those places that is so fabulous, you want to keep it to yourself and not tell anyone, yet so good, that anyone who enjoys peace and tranquility should go.

Great little getaway

I booked the shabby chic caravan after reading the rave reviews on here and I was not disappointed. The caravan is located in a beautiful spot which feels quite isolated but is still within easy reach of amenities. Kerri, Medwyn and Winnie (the dog) were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. The caravan itself is cozy and very comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Great cosy stay and will be back again.

Amazing location, took a little bit of finding but the directions we were given got us there. Didn't get to meet Kerri but Medwyn was fantastic. Very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local and not so local area. Caravan was beautiful and cosy. Will be back to stay again.

Only one tiny detail. Could do with a second fire so both bookings could have an outdoor heated spot.
