We had trouble using some parts of the oven as it seemed that half of it didn’t work, however it didn’t matter much to us in the end!

I have stayed at dove cottage numerous times and have enjoyed staying

When we arrived the pintail door was locked from the inside as per instructions- The fire we were unable to use due to damage from a recent storm- there was water coming down the wall in the kitchen were the fire is and around the annex where the washing machine was - I also had to clean out the fridge from the pervious visited - the dishwasher also has broke glass in it which we cleaned out - and had cutlery in it - I think they have changed there cleaning company and personal I feel they don’t do a good job Which is a shame others have also commented about this in the visitors book Noted the wall paper coming of the wall in the lounge behind one of the sofas - Christmas dec still up -

ideal place for a quiet get away!

perfect location, lovely size and very comfortable. we loved the fires in both rooms and the fact that we could take our four legged family with us. Kitchen was great, especially the cooker and having a dishwasher made it effortless.

My dogs didn’t like the pebbles in the garden and I was a little wobbly on them as I have mobility problems. My son wishes it had a bath!

Fabulous few days in Dove Cottage, visiting family in Flintshire and we would love to stay again

Beautiful cottage in lovely village with excellent pubs. The cottage was spotless and we really appreciated the little touches like welsh cakes and tea on arrival, really comfy beds and useful tourist guide. We were visiting family in Flintshire but it was also the perfect location for a trip to Zip World. Apart from a couple of rainy days we had a fabulous time 😊
