Lovely apartment with excellent beds, but overprized for what they offer

Lovely luxurieus apartment, excellent bed and shower. Close to restaurants, bakery and supermarket. Friendly owner.

We thought it was part of the lovely house on the picture and had an idea of a hotel with reception. Entree and parking all a bit complicated. Totally overprized for low saison for the things they offer. Just a suggestion; umbrellas in the apartment.

Near perfect

Warm welcome by the hosts, good communication throughout. Property was clean and comfortable, nothing lacked. The welcome drinks in the fridge were appreciated. Parking was away from the property, a short walk but did include stairs. Bus stops close by adding convenience as is shops and tourist office. Highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay close to Monaco.

Joan is a very kind host with personal attention to make sure the stay is good. We stayed here with our two small children. The property can be reached by car to unload the luggage / drop of family after a trip and the car can then be parked on private parking a small walk (with stairs) away. Bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t use the kitchen but it had all one would need. Main bed is very comfortable and the sofabed was good for our children. We especially liked the terras in the back where we sat when the children were sleeping. All in all a perfect place to stay close to Monaco!

Above all I like the bedding. It was super clean and high quality white cotton like that one of luxurious hotel. Also the floor of apartment was really clean. Joan & David was one of the kindest hosts who I have experienced so far, and they were willing to help me whenever I had questions about restaurants, public transportation, and itinerary in that area. That meant a lot to me because I had unexpected change in my schedule and felt quite embarrassed. They try to help me from the bottom of their heart. I can’t thank enough for Joan & David and am going to remember the stay as safe, comforting and supported.

It would be really good if there is continuous supply of hot water even for the long shower. I guess we have to wait after consuming certain amount hot water until it is heated up again. While I was searching for washing detergent and opened a door of sink, it smelled little bit from a not completely dried cleaning cloth. I guess the cleaning person did in that way.

Great stay right in the middle of Cap-d'Ail

We only had the one night at DAJO - but loved it. Right in the centre of Cap-d'Ail, but very quiet - so easy to get necessary items. A perfect verandah area to sit and enjoy a wine, and the room has everything you could need. A very functional kitchen, good bathroom, and very comfortable bed. If you are driving, you can get access to the property by car for 10 minutes to drop off and pick up bags - and where you do this from is only metres from the door. Very easy access. But the key to DAJO is the owner - Joan. She is fantastic! She helped with our earlier than normal arrival; checked constantly on us by WhatsApp that all was ok; sent very detailed instructions on how to get access to the property; and left us with the most amazing gifts for our stay.

Really nice clean and well appointed property

Style and location of property were a pleasant surprise. Joan met us and explained every thing. Parking was only a few minutes away from the flat but we were able to off load the car and pack it back up at the property, being allowed 15 minutes. 15 minutes walk to the beach and we did walk into and home from Monaco in the evening. I would definitely stay again.

We spent with our two kids great time in DAJO. DAJO is very nice place, very well located and well equipped. Joan is superhost and very kind person. All the time was very helpful. I will recommend DAJO to all my friends travelling to Monaco and Cote dAzur.

Lovely weekend stay

The property is well taken care of, fully equipped, has a beautiful location right at the city center where the bus to Monaco can be accessed. Very comfortable bed and duvet, large screen TV with netflix which was very appreciated since we could not go out due to heavy rain. They have a pocket garden where we had an aperitif since the bars weren’t open. The grocery stores are just a minute or two away from the property so it’s very easy for us to buy whatever we want. Most of all, we have the best host. Joan and her husband are very kind enough to give us a lift to the property. Communication was very easy and they go the extra mile just to satisfy their customers. They even gave us a suprise goodbye gift! 😉 We will definitely come back next time we stay in Cap D’Ail.

Location was great, the place was spotless and Joan and David were lovely hosts! Getting the keys was easy, Joan met me at the apartment when I arrived. The free parking is close to the apartment and makes the stay hassle free.

Joan and David was so nice and kind .They picked us up from the train station (to help us with our luggages) perhaps is just 10mins away. The property was perfectly clean and very good location. There are bus station, pharmacy and market nearby so is really convenient. Also, you will find full of necessary supplies for your stay. I’m really impressed and satisfied.
