Dirty apartment and unpleasant experience

Unfortunately, our experience at this apartment in Cap d'Ail was quite disappointing. When we arrived on Thursday, the person in charge who opened the apartment for us left us with a place that was clearly not clean. We let her know instantly and she was able to verify herself that the apartment wasn`t in optimal conditions , she said she would try to send someone over to clean it up but never happened. The terrace was full of dust and stains, and inside the apartment some towels were dirty, the kitchen utensils—although they appeared clean—still had food residue on them, and the floors were dusty. The beds had duvets without covers, which, even if not visibly dirty, gave an unpleasant feeling when sleeping. On friday, we tried to speak politely with the owner to request that someone come to clean the place properly. Instead of offering a solution, she said she was offended by our complaint, insisted the apartment was the best in the area, and asked us to leave immediately. It was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable exchange. To her credit, her son came by on Sunday before check-out to apologize and try to make things right, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by the lack of cleanliness and the owner's unacceptable response, which left us feeling anxious during our stay, as we weren’t sure if we might be forced to leave at any moment.

LA VUE EST TOUT SIMPLEMENT SUBLIME !!! TOUT ÉTAIT ABSOLUMENT FANTASTIQUE, L'ENDROIT, LE CADRE EST SUPER CALME, TRÈS SÉCURISÉ. SUR LA PETITE TERRASSE, ON A UNE VUE PARFAITE. ON A TOUT À PROXIMITÉ, SURTOUT LA PLAGE MALA DE RÊVE. ON OUBLIE PAS QU'IL Y A UN PARKING PRIVÉ. ET L'AVANTAGE, ON EST À 10 MINUTES DE MONACO MONTE-CARLO. JE REVIENDRAI TRÈS PROCHAINEMENT!
