This stunning vacation rental at Sundestin Beach Resort offers updated and exceptional accommodations. Ongoing construction and amenity closures are to be expected. Construction is predicted to be completed Spring 2026.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). These Condos are very affordable. Easy access to restaurants in all amenities that Dustin has to offer.

Everything was perfect! The view is breathtaking and so relaxing. Make sure you bring some extra bath towels though, they do not supply very many. There’s not a washer and dryer in the unit so bring you a roll of quarters. There is a laundry room on each floor. Call a couple of days ahead of time to reserve your chairs so you can get the front row. The furniture is a little old, but who cares, you’re at the beach! Get a few bags of ice, no ice maker. Enjoy! I hope you have the best time, just like we did!

First off, on-going construction was pointed out in the property listing, however it was understated. We should have been informed in bold letters of this situation when we booked.
Who would book a room at a resort on the beach knowing the pool was going to be closed? Not us. We were not the only people arriving that were not aware this was going to be the case when we checked in.
When searching VRPO for a rental, I specifically look for places with a washer and dryer. Both are listed as "Popular Amenities" but you have to dig down into the weeds to find out there is 1 coin operated washer and 1 coin operated dryer per floor of the resort. I think the listing should not indicate there is laundry in the condo. And the least the resort could do is update the machines to accept cashless payments.
As several people have pointed out, this condo needs updating and refreshing. There were several tiles in the kitchen that were cracked. The kitchen sink fixtures were loose. The toilet paper holder in the 1/2 bath was missing the roller. The towel rack next to the tub was falling apart. The mattress on the king bed is hard as a rock. The carpet throughout is stained and dingy. The hardware on the storage furniture was loose. The TV entertainment center in the living room was coming apart when it was moved.
