Quiet, roomy but in need of refurbishment
It was set back from the main area. Quiet and very large rooms.
It was extremely shabby in places. Water marks in ceiling upstairs, the boiler didn’t heat the water properly so we all ended up sharing half a bath or a cold shower. Not ideal for 4 double rooms! The heating was not working at all on the top floor until reported. The exterior needs work - rotting wood and draughty windows. The clicking in the pipes from the heating system kept me awake most nights. No spare light bulbs - the night light in my room didn’t work.

Bedrooms nice size
Cobwebs everywhere, dirty and mouldy bathroom. Kitchen cooker vent was dusty and had a cock drawn on it

Basic but comfortable stay, well located for the England Coast Path.
Location was excellent for us walking the England Coast Path, and easy walking distance to the centre of town. A good sized property, comfy beds, plenty of towels, washing machine, generous supply of loo paper and washing up liquid (not always the case!) Very quick response to a problem with the heating.
Heating was not working on arrival, but was fixed very quickly. We felt the place was cheaply furnished, but had all the basics. There were only 2, 2 seater sofas in the lounge area - odd for a house that sleeps 8, and did mean that the 3 of us did rather have to squash together to watch TV. The key was a bit stiff in the lock and the key safe a bit temperamental. No instructions left re heating or TV.

Comfy but a few improvements needed
Spacious house, clean and comfy beds and parking a bonus.
I just think the owner could do with replacing or cleaning the curtains, stains on them and on the carpets and chairs in the dining room, also the bath is wobbly when you stand in it, great powerful showers though. No mirrors in the bedrooms, nowhere to hang clothes in a couple of the bedrooms.

Adequate, clean bed linen and shower towels
Position, clean bath towels and bed linen. Hot showers. Owners quick to reply ,although nothing could be done at the time, they gave us an adequate response .
Dirty hand towel left in downstairs loo, cobwebs, rundown paintwork, not enough cutlery or glasses for 6 people let alone a house for 8. No lid on kitchen bin. Dodgy broken curtains.

Very spacious and comfortable home, perfect for a meet up with friends
The house was incredibly spacious and being able to park right by the front door was so convenient, it was well equipped and going by some of the previous reviews looked like it has had a freshen up and additions made to the kitchen, it had everything we needed. Absolutely perfect for meeting with our friends, kids had so much space to play, they were happy and loved it. The staff were responsive and helpful on messages and we were grateful for the early check in. Check in arrangements were fuss free. Would stay again. The available of garden and covered patio was a godsend.
Would’ve been good if the tv was connected to the internet so you could use the iplayer, movie apps etc, or if there was a dvd player. The availability of a high chair would be great as there is certainly plenty of place to store it. There is a little mini play park and green at the front of the property in the middle of the square of houses which was at first a welcome discovery, however did become apparent there were a lot of children left outside all day to play with no adults around and some questionable behaviour occurring so it did put us off taking our kids out to play on it. Maybe just the end of a long summer holiday taking its toll!

Great space for large family gathering
The amount of space, the number of bathrooms, clean comfy beds, outside area was a bonus, easy parking, easy check in, good wifi, lots of loo rolls and towels, play park opposite property.
Really needs a deep clean (skirting boards, stair rail and cobwebs round windows), shower slow draining. Lack of toiletries apart from hand soap, general maintenance issues (broken light fitting on top landing, broken door handle in top front bedroom, freezer door front panel, picture frame on top landing, but this is just to flag it as it wouldn't put us off staying again)
