The Firs Country Park

Very beautiful stay! Very peaceful and relaxing!! Definitely worth the value! It was very Cosy, and when lighting the fire it heated up the whole pod very easily! Hot tub was really relaxing, easy steps and instructions on how to use it and the fireplace. Each pod had box’s for you to buy wood from by scanning the QR code so no need to leave your pod!! The pod came with a very nice bed and lovely bedding! Soft pillows and duvet. Tv provided with channels, Netflix, YouTube etc. Very cosy at night sitting watching the wind outside, whilst being inside with the fire going, on the sofa watching tv. The kitchen provided a microwave , kettle, fridge freezer and hob. Had all utilities in order for you to cook. Also tea towel, sponge, washing up liquid, Tea, coffee and sugar provided. Definitely was an amazing stay. Tescos and a town centre very close by! Only thing of a disadvantage was the window above the bed, I’m someone that needs darkness to sleep however was very bright in the morning, would advise a curtain for the window or blind. Other then that, we are definitely considering to visit again it was beautiful ❣️

Nice well looked after properties and sight. Secure area, park next to where you are staying. Lovely walks and wood close by.

Checkin was a little awkward as I missed the initial call and the phone wasn’t answered when I rang back which meant I had to try multiple times before we got our pod details and key code. The nice peaceful location was just what we were looking for. The pod was clean and tidy with a small but adequate bathroom and kitchenette although would benefit from a fan in warm weather. The wood fired hot tub was an added bonus. Good value for money. The only thing that was missing was a mop or broom to allow us to sweep the floors. Be careful when walking round the bed too as the posts stand out and are easy to walk into.
