The Firs Country Park

Peacefull amd clean and exerlant services

The location was quiet and peaceful. The cabin itself was lovely and really very clean, as were the surroundings.

The cabin is for 2 people but whatbis provided is the bare minimum for 2 people, in terms of kitchen equipment. Only 1 frying pan and 1 saucepan. A few extra pieces of crockery and cutlery and perhaps some melamine glasses for outside use would be good. Also some serving dishes for food. It says coffee machine...it has a kettle. 1 small mirror in the bathroom is all there is. Also the blind over the bed has no blind so itbis very bright really early!

Absolutely amazingly clean honestly looked brand new through out... facilities where amazing, hot tub got hot very fast and also amazing.... I would recommend to anyone... so peaceful too... unfortunately didnt get chance to fish but will definitely be coming back.. bed very comfortable and the sky light is a brilliant added touch.... all pots pans and cutlery where clean, also microwave and fridge where spotless along with the cooker top... log burner brilliant added touch to the atmosphere...thank you for giving us one of the best nights away in long time.....10 stars

Nothing

The location is stunning and it was especially magical at night with the fairy lights.

The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and far from what you’d expect from a luxury stay. It felt old and worn out, with a noticeable dip in the middle that made it difficult to get comfortable. You could feel every spring, which made it even worse. Any slight movement from one person during the night would disturb the other, so neither of us slept well. Overall, it definitely didn’t deliver the quality or comfort of a luxury night’s sleep. Additionally, the curtains were too short, allowing light to stream in early in the morning, which disrupted sleep. The blind covering the skylight was also ineffective and did not properly block out the light.
