The Firs Country Park

A staff member rang prior to arrival and explained entry to the park and lodge. The lodge was lovely and clean, it has everything you need inside. The site was peaceful. The grounds were really neat and tidy

The location was lovely. The pod was nice and cosy. Hot tub was a huge hit.

No blackout blind for the sky light window.

The whole experience was awesome. It is very very clean and well looked after. Peaceful and beautifully located.

Everything was great if I had to make adjustments for the better, perhaps stepping stones to the hot tub and hose and a pull out awning over the hot tub to enjoy it in the rain. But this aside no way would this stop me from returning as its superb

The location is stunning and it was especially magical at night with the fairy lights.

The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and far from what you’d expect from a luxury stay. It felt old and worn out, with a noticeable dip in the middle that made it difficult to get comfortable. You could feel every spring, which made it even worse. Any slight movement from one person during the night would disturb the other, so neither of us slept well. Overall, it definitely didn’t deliver the quality or comfort of a luxury night’s sleep. Additionally, the curtains were too short, allowing light to stream in early in the morning, which disrupted sleep. The blind covering the skylight was also ineffective and did not properly block out the light.
