Still House

We have stayed in this property a few times now and are always happy with our stay. The location is good for what we needed and a good car park nearby with very reasonable prices for 24 hours. Beds are comfy and there’s plenty of space to feel like you’re not all cramped in with each other!

Unfortunately since our first few stays it doesn’t seem as though the property has received much maintenance and is definitely in need of a refresh. The dining chairs were very worn with all the leather peeling off so you couldn’t actually sit on them without it flaking over you. The carpet doesn’t actually fit the room in the large top bedroom, we nearly pricked our feet on the edges where there is a gap between the wall and the carpet and there are some areas where the carpet is frayed throughout. The edging around the kitchen floor is also sticking up which did cause people to trip and hurt themselves. The extractor fan does not work in the top bathroom, which is causing mould to grow on the ceiling. There also seems to be 2 cushions missing from one of the sofas, which means it’s now very uncomfortable to sit on! And there is a strong smell of dog in some places… I think the property could do with a good freshen up and it would be perfect again! We stayed when it was first available and it was absolutely stunning, would be great to see it back to its original glory!

Property was clean, modern and had great facilities, will definitely book again.

I missed a coffee machine and some shower gel in the bathrooms.

The property was worth it, it is big and has good sized rooms. Great location it’s 30 secs walk to the town center. It was very clean and checking in was easy
