Fabulous Place, Wonderful Hosts and a Brilliant Location to Explore Cornwall.

I loved everything about my stay at The Cedars. It was wonderful. I stayed here once before as a Bed and Breakfast Guest and thought it was fabulous. This time I stayed in a Garden Chalet which was amazing. If I ever need to stay in Cormnwall again, The Cedars will be my first choice of places to stay. Very Highly Recommended.

Our staying at the Cedars B&B, with Janet and David was way above and beyond our expectations: It is a 200 year old house, renovated in a way that combined the opulence of the past with the comfort of presence. The rooms are soooo nice, homie, spacious and welcoming. It's location is comfortable for touring Cornwell, and the main sites that we wanted to visit were close. Breakfast was absolutely great!!!! there was a buffet that could have been enough, But then - came the fresh cooked delicious meal. WOW! It was sooooo goooddddd! The inn is close to a general store and some very nice pubs, that offers great dinners. Above all: Janet and David were soooo nice, friendly helpful, and happy to help any time of the day and with any exceptional requests we had. We were really sad to leave the Inn. It felt like home away from home. Hope to be back. Thank you for the wonderful stay

Excellent hosts. Provided laundry service at £10 per load, wash and dry. Large and beautiful garden. Good base from which to explore Lizard peninsula and lands end. Great breakfast

Very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Just beautiful property - baby ducks on pond a bonus. Fresh milk supplied another big bonus. Great room comfortable bed and little personal touches made for a pleasant stay. DVD player inc. with T.V. Lovely breakfast area looking over the garden with option of eating outside. Highly recommend this property.

Just about perfect!

Everything! Beautiful room (room 5), with plenty of space, a sofa facing the TV, a large window, looking out over a well kept garden, complete with an occupied duck pond. The bed was very comfortable, with plug sockets and USB charging ports next to it. The bathroom was spotless. There was a large selection for breakfast, both cooked and buffet style. There's parking on site, with the gate closed over night. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The B&B is in a nice little village, close to convenience stores and a pub, with bus stops nearby serving Truro and Redruth

Perfect

It was our first time in Cornwall and location of hotel was perfect as central and a short drive to all sights. Beds were comfy and rooms were super clean - which is one of the reasons we booked the Cedars. Dave & Janet were perfect hosts, giving us advice and even lending us cash for a takeway! Dave remembered the Chinese Takeaway only took cash! He even set us a table so we could eat in comfort. Breakfasts were good and an excellent start to our full days of sightseeing. We enjoyed our short break immensely, even the ducks who roam the gardens are welcoming 😁

Absolutely incredible stay in a beautiful hut!

We stayed in the Shepherd’s Hut for 9 days and absolutely loved it. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare breakfasts and dinners as well. The hut was very clean and incredible comfortable and pretty. You’ve got plenty of privacy and silence because the hut is located in the beautiful garden and has its own terrace. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect for different day trips by car throughout all of Cornwall. We would even highly recommend the normal B&B accommodations, because we had breakfast with the other guests once and it was phenomenal. We already miss St Day, the lovely general store around the corner and the beautiful hut, which was a lovely home for the last days.

Perfect holiday accommodation for an amazing price

Loved Everything! The shepards hut was beautiful It had everything we needed and more, a home from home, Janet and David were perfect hosts, nothing was any trouble at all, it was lovely to sit on the decking having coffee with a book, watching the ducks on the pond with beautiful gardens. The rooms at the B&B were beautiful as had other family staying there, but ours perfect for us as love being able to fend for ourselves. Definitely booking for next year too.

Having to leave this perfect peace of heaven was the only downside to be honest.

A wonderfully relaxing stay in peaceful surroundings

The location of the chalet in the garden was lovely and felt very private The chalet was very well considered and I found everything I required to be available The hosts are very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent

I personally found nothing to criticise I was staying on my own so cannot comment on how it would be to share the accommodation with another person

A 5 star stay!!

An absolutely lovey home - We were so well looked after from start to finish. The room was very spacious, clean and well set up. Breakfast was lovely and even served early as we had to be away by 8. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to others.

Amazing Place and Wonderful Hosts, Historic Building - Fantastic Location for Exploring Cornwall.

The Cedars is a really beautiful place to stay. Everything was exceptional. Incredibly comfortable bad, fabulous breakfast, great shower and facilities. St Day was the perfect place to stay to explore the whole of Cornwall. The hosts, Janet and David were absolutely brilliant. I would have absolutely no hesitation in staying here again and will recommend The Cedars to all of my family and closest friends. Thank You, you made an Amazing Holiday - Incredible.

For me everything was perfect. there were absolutely no bad points. The only thing I didn't like was having to leave and go home. To Janet and David Thank you for making my stay exceptional.

Comfortable B & B with lovely hosts

Janet and David are exceptional hosts, they are so friendly and helpful, and really know how to take care of their guests. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay with them. The room we stayed in was very tastefully decorated, comfortable and a nice size for two people. The breakfast caters to all tastes and breakfast room is located in a very bright room facing the garden. I would not hesitate to stay at the Cedars B and B on my next visit to Redruth.

Nice accommodation, lovely gardens and friendly hosts.

Good communication over booking. Easy, off-street parking. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Very comfortable bed and a small but very nicely decorated en-suite bathroom. Nice attention to detail in respect of in-room tea and coffee facilities. Beautiful gardens - what a shame the bad weather prevented us from having a closer look. Excellent breakfast, cheerfully served.
