Fry’s Carriage

Sara & John were both friendly and when we had a query they were very helpful. Didn't know where to put our recycling should we have any but Sara provided us with a box that we could leave outside the carriage. Whilst it was a room only stay Sara provided loaf of bread, spread, milk, biscuits, OJ which we did use some of them and was a fabulous touch. There was a fridge (including freezer which had a bag of ice cubes in which was very handy for my Baileys I'd taken with). All the equipment looked like we were the first to use it though I know from reviews that we weren't. I was very nervous about encountering spiders but we didn't see any which was a definite bonus. Whilst the carriage was for 2 people, we checked if our friend who lives locally and the reason we were visiting the area could sit out on the patio area with us as there is outside seating for 4. This was perfectly fine with the Hosts. Due to the carriage location, when we went back to it at night Sara put the lantern on so we could see our way. No torches were needed. Good amount of plug sockets and somewhere to put you mobile phone on the wall by the bed, along with a holder to put a glass of water. Note: Simone written review on Phil's account.

I can't think of anything!

Secluded location with fabulous views. Spotlessly clean and well designed, even had cupholders by the bed. Thoughtful touches like the well stocked fridge were appreciated. There was milk, water, drinks, bread and butter and a cream tea. Sara, the host was friendly and helpful. The outside seating area was lovely.

Not much storage for suitcases but it wasn't a problem. Steep steps to the carriage were ok for us but may be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

Great location, host was very helpful. Supplied tea, coffee, milk and cream tea. Property was cosy, clean and very private. Well thought out accommodation for all your needs.

No cooker/oven but microwave, toaster and George forman griddle. So not really a negative.

Sara was an amazing host and so kind and caring to my dog Flash. Having a few little essentials in the fridge was so thoughtful too. The space was exactly what we needed for our time away we are so grateful Thanks 😊

Nothing to say perfect place to stay will recommend to everyone and will definitely stay again
