Spotlessly clean. Nothing had been forgotten. Jam, scones and clotted cream on arrival and milk in the fridge. Comfy bed and excellent facilities.

Lovely home complete with foxes and rainbows!

This was a lovely spot outside of St. Agnes proper. Once we figured out how to get to there it was perfect. Our error! Kate had sent very clear directions, and was very responsive when we called. We had a full kitchen, living area and nice bedroom and bathroom, all beautifully done with decor and furnishings. While we were only there for one night, it would be a truly nice spot to stay as a base for day trips in Cornwall, as you could see the other amenities offered on site. Breakfast was lovely baked goods, clotted cream, etc. Basic, but very tasty. We were greeted in the morning by several foxes out in the field and a lovely rainbow. St. Agnes is just a few short minutes away with little shops and a great variety of restaurants. It is also located near the historic tin mines along the coast. We would certainly recommend and would hope to visit, again.

Lovely, spacious and well-equipped lodge with a large outdoor area. Close to all amenities in St Agnes. The owners even left us some treats when we arrived which was unexpected and a nice treat after a long drive! Thank you!

Perfect, quiet & relaxing week off, thank you !

Set in its own private and peaceful area within the grounds, Wheal Rock offered everything we needed for a relaxing break. Inside, it was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully laid out, and felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect — once we parked up, we didn’t need to use the car all week. Kate and Tim were lovely hosts, so friendly and always happy to help, making sure we had everything for an excellent stay. Highly recommended!

Truly Spectacular!

We loved absolutely everything about staying at this fantastic lodge! It really is like a home away from home as all the extras are supplied and the place is kept immaculate. The surrounding area was so peaceful with so much to do there. It was great sitting outside in the lovely garden every night and the BBQ was excellent. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and hope to visit again in the future. Thank you for such a lovely experience! 🤗

Great location. Great place. Very peaceful. Very relaxing.

2nd bedroom had bunk beds, which wasn't ideal for older children. The sofa could have been more comfortable, but that is picking at straws.
