Wheal Rock - Luxury 2 Bed Lodge

The lodge was beautiful - perfect for couples and small families. The location was tranquil, but also offered enough outdoor space for children to play. The alpacas were also a big hit with our son. The arrival cream tea was a much appreciated surprise. The location is also ideal with the beach, cove and shops all within walking distance.

There is not a single thing that we didn’t like!

There was nothing to dislike

It was lovely with a fabulous area for my son to run around and a BBQ. Everything you could possibly want was provided - even scales in the kitchen and kitchen basics like salt & pepper. Super comfy bed! Also I'm unsure how to make towels and bedding so soft, but it was appreciated. The hosts were so nice and Kate didn't seem to mind my minor panic about the heatwave and whether we needed to bring fans (sorry about that!). And they'd made scones with cream and jam for our arrival and left us milk 🙂 There were alpacas in the field opposite and they were so fun - they put up with an enormous amount of chatter from my toddler like absolute champions.
