Lovely site, well maintained and good facilities.
Was very dusty and smelt musty. Needs a bit of modernising and tlc. Would really benefit from some outdoor seating as would have been nice to eat & drink outside in the sun, seemed like the only property on the site without anything !!

Peaceful location of site & cottage
Upon entering, the cottage had a damp odour, with air fresheners & de-humidifiers everywhere! The general appearance of the whole place was that it had not be thoroughly cleaned for some time? The curtain was hanging off the pole at one end, in the front room. The floor was grubby.Though the beds were made up, the pillows had a damp odour, as did the spare ones.The wardrobes smelled musty, so we were unable to use them. Some of the utensils & baking trays had not been cleaned, so we didn't use those either, along with the cooker. The kitchen cupboards & fridge had to be wiped out before storage. We had to open the doors & windows when present in the property. If it hadn't been for the fact that we were out every day, we would have had no option but to seek alternative accommodation. Having said that, we really could't afford to do so. So all in all, though the site & facilities were good, the accommodation proved somewhat disappointing

Brambles was conveniently located, spacious, well appointed and excellent value. The site had good facilities and was dog-friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
We should have brought our portable black-out blind because our dog was distracted by passers-by and the windows were full height. Also bath towels could have been larger, but honestly these are not huge problems.
