Comfortable apartment in good location but very small.

Clean comfortable apartment with everything we needed. Good location and warm welcome from the agent

The picture on the confirmation was of a different apartment. We stayed in the 'Penthouse' which was a top floor apartment with a view of roofs and nothing else! The apartment did have everything we needed but it was extremely small - with a drop down dining table. Not really what you expect of a penthouse! It was, however adequate for our needs for a few nights!

Strange in an apartment this size for four people no dishwasher. There were water glasses, wine glasses but no smaller glasses for liquor !

Great stay right in the center of Malaga!!!

The location of the property was exceptional - right in the center of Old Town. Super convenient for exploring. Nothing was more 10 min walk. Lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. The apartment fit 5 people very comfortably. It had all the essentials that we could have possibly needed for our stay.

There is not much that I would improve. If I had to nitpick, I would say that I would leave a few extra pillows, as the ones we had were a bit lumpy.

Very pleasant stay; the apartment had everything you could wish for.

Very good location; close to all amenities. Surprisingly quiet as it was situated on a busy street close to a bar/restaurant.

The only downside was the comfort of the settee in the lounge. It was a little small to seat 4 people in comfort.

Beautiful apartment in central Malaga.

The location is excellent, just off Larios, but it wasn’t noisy at night. The decor, facilities and comfort is great. Lots of light due to the windows and balconies and the shutters were very useful at night. Very clean and welcoming staff. Easy check in. Plan to return.

A truly lovely place to stay

The apartment is absolutely beautiful and decorated with lovely modern furniture. Everything felt fresh and clean, and it was such a luxury to have so much space to relax and enjoy our holiday. It is perfectly nestled among shops and restaurants, and only a short walk to the pier and beaches. We loved staying here and will definitely be back.

Great location, upscale flat right in the middle of old town

The location is very central and the flat is very upscale. High-end furnishings, very comfortable beds.

The building being across the street from a sex shop made for a very interesting conversation with the kids each morning. Also, the flat did not have any extra sheets. We were there for just one night, but there were no extra linens, and the sleeper couch was not set up. Granted, we did not request it to be set up, assuming there would be something. We requested one sheet from the check-in person, but it never arrived.

Wrong description and uncomfortable check in

In description, it was written a double room with four beds but there was only one bedroom with two beds. More over, when we arrived at 15 for check in, the staff were still cleaning the place and it took 30 minutes till we checked in.

A great place with just a few things to fix for a full score.

The good: -Location! Literally Everything is within 5mins walk, even a pharmacy (also taxis, right next to McDonalds) -Bright, nice little apartment, perfect for two. The blinds on all windows can also make it pitch black if needed. -Comfortable bed. Slept almost like home. -Surprisingly quiet despite the bustling action all around below. I'm a light sleeper and wasn't bothered even once. -Two quiet split type aircons (adjust fan speed/noise with the remote). If you dont like draft, run only the kitchen one. -Sofa is quite comfy too. With the chairs there is seating for 6-7ppl. -Washing machine (drying rack in the hallway), toaster oven, microwave, 2x coffee maker and 2x hotplate (induction) -Support/Service. The whatsapp chat works great. Friendly & helpful 45yo Spanish guy with excellent English greeted us.

The less good: -WIFI is very unstable, especially in the evening. Don't count on it working when you need it. -Shower pressure. It's usable but approaching third world level and it takes a while to feel clean & soap free in my case. -The view. Not much to look at outside the windows except the top of a Church/clock tower but plenty of sun & blue sky. -Kitchen fan didn't work & TV remote didn't work, no biggie but should be fixed. -Some black stuff came out of both aircons when I turned them on. Regular maintenance would be nice -Occasional sewage smell. The water-lock in the shower drain evaporates. Just add some water to fix it. (Maintenance?) -Only one set of towels per person. Clean towels every day = washing every day or bring your own. -Taxi can't drive all the way. But it's very near, only 2mins walk. I'm sure they will provide assistance if you need it. -"Bang for the buck". Yes the ~200EUR/night is about the location but I'd expect excellent WIFI and extra towels at this level. -The registration process should be streamlined with just one email containing all the links (working ones) and instructions

The location is excellent – very central.

Some important things to consider before booking: The photos on the listing appear to show a selection of different apartments, so the one you receive may not be exactly as pictured. It’s worth confirming the exact unit beforehand. In our experience, the apartment did not quite meet expectations for the price. Some of the furniture was in poor condition — one of the drawers was coming loose and close to falling off. We also noticed some cleanliness concerns, such as hair on the bed linen. The walls showed visible signs of aging, with some areas having cracks or needing a refresh. The shower was not very comfortable either, as the showerhead was very small, resulting in weak water pressure.

Perfect Stay & Awesome Location

The location was excellent. It's near the central shopping location, walkable to the port and cathedral, and other attractions. The apartment is small and compact. They had all basic utilities.

The bathroom door wasn't closing properly. And since it's near the central location, slight noises were audible at night if we opened a window. When we close the window, it was all fine.

Floor is in super bad condition. Cant walk without your shoes on if you dont want to hurt your feet. Should have been replaced years ago. Same thing with the chairs. Small bathroom

The picture on Booking.com did not correspond to the reality (was from a different apartment), the view from the apartment to the neighbor's wall, the kitchen utensils were scarce, the kettle turned off the electricity - we returned it ourselves, wear and tear.....company (Genteel Home) doesn't have an office in Malaga (at least we didn't find it)

The bed and the sofa bed need an urgent change since both are extremely soft and the bed was unstable.

Genteel Marin Garcia Apt No3 👍

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment No3 on the 3rd floor.. Light Bright and well decorated throughout. A/C in every room worked well at cooling the apartment down. Superb powerful Shower and Comfy beds. Good well equipped kitchen with a Nespresso machine. Outside noise kept to a minimum with the excellent blackout shutters. Location was amazing, right in the thick of it. Within a 5-7 min walk to everything and a few minutes walk from Parking Camas if you arrive by car like we did Rosa our host who met us was lovely and gave us some great tips for eating and drinking.. Malaga is a great City and has a bustling eating out scene as well as plenty of Cultural and Historical points of note.

No Smart TV hardly a deal breaker I know but just expect it these days . Maybe time to give the AC units a good clean inside

Very good

The apartment is very pretty and spacious. It’s well decorated and looks very clean. The staff was very friendly and helps us to keep our luggage before the check-in. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine is a plus.

The bed and the sofa bed are not comfortable. We spent there 6 days and it was difficult to sleep well. Also, the air con needs some maintenance as it’s working slower for the heat in Málaga.

Great place to fully meet Málaga.

The apartment was very nice, it was located in quiet a location, although with a Bar below, there was respect towards people and the bar closed after a certain hour. From my past experiences in other apartments, this one had a lot of accommodations. Also Near the main shopping avenue were it was full during the night.

One comment from my side I noticed that the building Water pump was always kicking in during the night, maintenance is needed and the AC vents are very dirty all 3 AC need urgent cleaning ASAP. Overall all problems that can be solved within an afternoon.
