Nice apartment at good value for two couples

The beds were comfortable, and the place had all the little things (plugs, outlets, shelves, hooks, appliances) in all the right places that are often missed. The common area was large enough for sitting and chatting and the kitchen big enough to make dinners and eat together. The location was perfect for exploring the town.

The apartment is in a walking only area-no cars and if not from France, the parking rules can be confusing. The central parking garage recommended by the host was more expensive than advertised (20 euros vs 15 euros a day) and we did not know we had to change our hourly ticket to a daily ticket as soon as we arrived so ended up having to pay the hourly rate for our first Sat and Sunday. Ouch. Other than that, the circular stairs in the apartment to get to the first bedroom and separating it from the downstairs bathroom were unexpected. The two sets of circular stairs to get to the second bedroom and its bathroom were also not expected. Ok for us but something to consider for those with mobility issues.

A beautiful, clean apartment with a friendly host, in the best part of Arles.

Arles is so beautiful and the apartment is absolutely in the heart of the action. It is very clean, has everything you need and two great bedrooms, up stairs that are steep and narrow but true to the character of the property. On arrival, the instructions were really clear, and we had no issues getting in. The host was also available by message and responded quickly, if we had any queries. We were super happy.

No complaining! It was fantastic.

Exceptional

The apartment is very nicely furnished with all the kitchen equipment and utensils required for cooking. It is easy to find and self check-in a breeze thanks to Lawrence's instructions. Spread over multiple levels, "good knees" are required, but the ensuite on the top level and a bathroom on the "living" level works well.

Great location in the historic center of Arles. Good restaurants and historic sights nearby. Modern and updated apartment in an historic building (up some steep stairs, 'rustic' entry area). the apartment was lovely; well-equipped and comfortable. Good internet. One bedroom (up 2 steep flights of stairs) had bathroom ensuite. The other room had to access the bathroom off the living area down flight of stairs. Coffee provided, and a few condiments/spices. Kitchen well-equipped. Loved the easy access for market day.

Bathroom situation for master bedroom was interesting (especially at night!), but it worked OK. Had to haul our luggage a couple blocks...no parking nearby (about a ten minute walk).

There wasn’t anything not to like in the property- there isn’t a TV which might be an issue for some people.

great location but be aware that there are steep stairs from the living area to the bedrooms

great location in the heart of the historic district. the host was very responsive and answered our messages right away

the stairs to the bedrooms are difficult for older people. we left our luggage in the living room. if you stay in the master bedroom, you’ll either have to go up or go down to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I know this configuration is due to the fact that the building is ancient and I should have researched it better

We would highly recommend Arles to visitors and this apartment suited us very well

The apartment is very well decorated, and with plenty of cutlery and lovely plates. We loved its central location and every where is within walking distance, the arena, the amphitheatre, the forum square and all its cafes and restaurants. We were warm and confortable and enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing that people should know is that the internal stairs in the apartment are stone and quite large steps. It is an old building. The apartment is on three floors so there are two flights. We are an elderly couple but we managed perfectly by making sure we had everything to go to bed with. The lovely shower room is on the bottom floor. The top floor has an en-suite shower and toilet. The lock box at the door for entry was very easy even arriving at night. The tourist office is not far and they are helpful and will give you a map. Try not to miss the area to the west of the old town that runs back from Quai de la Roquette toward Boulevard Clemenceau. The houses are old and interesting and there is a lot of greenery in pots along some of the streets. We also found a nice cafe Cafe de la Roquette and a great seafood restaurant - L'Epricerie Moderne - in Place Paul Doumer. They had delicious Carmarge oysters and wonderful prawns. Another good find was Gaudina in the same street as the apartment on the same side. They were happy for us to just have starters and they are passionate about wine. We ate well in Arles.

There is nothing that we did not like. The owner apologised for the entrance hall as the paint is peeling. As I said it is an old building. This did not worry us at all. Some people might not like that there is no television in the apartment. again this did not worry us at all. The wi-fi is good and you can play music from your phone or laptop if you want sound!

A good place

Central location, apartment in good condition with well-equipped kitchen. Nice style. Clean bathrooms, good towels, hair dryers. The owner responded quickly to any questions. We used the recommended parking garage and it worked fine. Many nice restaurants within a few minutes, we recommend l’Affenage (3 course menu 28/38 euro, great food, traditional French). For a vineyard visit, try Mas de Valériole for a wine pressed by foot in the barrel, in the field 😄

The entrance of the house is dark and with a step down, a bit tricky to get used to - but the owner said that the common areas of the house will be repaired. Be prepared for many stairs to reach the top floor bedroom. The house is facing a busy bar and there are works in the street ( November 2022) so quite noisy both late and early.

Much bigger than cosy but few issues with stairs V8n

The location was right in centre. Very spacious and bright with good modern bathrooms. The living room area was particularly nice with nice furniture and art work. Nicely decorated. Name is understated as very big apartment on 3 levels. Very old building but flat modernised.

The entrance to the building is very dark and needs maintenance. The bathrooms were on the ground floor and top floor off the living area and top bedroom. Very steep stone stairs to navigate at night to use the bathroom if sleeping in the double bedroom on first floor! Beds were little hard and cleaning had not been done when we arrived after 3pm so had to leave for few hours while being done...this was not a big problem and was dealt with efficiently after a phone call. Lots of bath towels but no small towels.

great place for a stay in the wonderful town of Arles. very central and can walk from station.

tasteful, central, quirky with brick floors in bedrooms, air conditioning in each room, two bathrooms one on first floor with kitchen/living space and one to floor with second bedroom.

lots of stairs but no real problem although best to be aware. Also work going on to improve communal stair area so a little dusty but should be finished soon. Be aware limited cooking facilities. No oven or dishwasher but did not inconvenience us. Just two rings, toaster and microwave.

The location is great, right next to the City Hall, everything is at 5 minutes reach. There are plenty of restaurants around, some really good ones. The view from the window is lovely, waking up in the morning with that view is just sublime. The house is perfect: one big living room, then 2 rooms at the upper floors, 2 bathrooms, everything lovely decorated, comfortable and sparkly clean. Really recommend this house.

Lage in der Altstadt, in der Nähe von Bahnhof, Bus, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Relativ ruhig, obwohl Restaurants in der Gasse. Alte charmante Wohnung schön eingerichtet, renoviert mit zwei neuen Badezimmern und Klimaanlage in jedem Stock.

Das französische Bett war hart und die zwei anderen sehr schmal. Der enge Treppenaufgang hat hohe Stufen. Nicht geeignet für grosse Koffer.

vi har haft problem med en toalett från incheckning till idag sen eftermiddag. Har inte gått att använda denna. Då det inte gått att spola! Haft kontakt med värden från ankomst dagen. Problemet är först löst dagen innan avresa. Vi har endast kunna använda toaletten från kl. 18.30, 3 Oct. - endast 12 timmar totalt !! Dessutom motsvarar inte lägenheten beskrivningen. Lägenheten är i 3 plan med branta, stora trappsteg. Dubbelrum har toaletten en trappa ned vilket var trasigt Kan inte räknas som eget badrum Det stod en lapp på ytterdörren att vi inte skulle stänga dörren. Helt skabbigt trapphus i fastigheten med flagnande färg och mögel. Vi yrkar på minst full ekonomisk kompensation för denna vistelse från både värd och Booking.com !!

Un alojamiento verdaderamente excepcional, céntrico a más no poder, ubicado en una calle animada de día y tranquila de noche. Las instalaciones son tal como aparecen en las fotografías, y las camas son comodísimas, todo está impoluto y la zona de estar-comedor-cocina permite momentos de vida casera para el grupo (por ejemplo, cuando aprieta el calor o cuando cae una tormenta diluviana). Nos sorprendió lo bien surtida que estaba la cocina, la bonita luz de toda la vivienda, el sencillo proceso para recoger las llaves e instalarnos. Repetiremos sin duda.

La presión del agua de la ducha sería mejorable, pero entendemos que son cosas que pasan cuando te alojas en un edificio tan antiguo.

Era céntrico. No había ruido. Tenía aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones y en la sala de estar. En general, bien equipado.

La corriente del agua del baño del 3er piso no era buena y había mal olor (olor desagüe). Si bien booking había promocionado parking, el alojamiento no cuenta con parking (es un parking privado fuera del centro, no tan lejos), pero el precio no está incluido.

Situé dans l’hypercentre, à 100m de la cathédrale, nous nous sommes rendus à Arles pour un mariage.

Emplacement, appartement superbement décoré, vaste, possédant 2 chambres avec 2 salles de bain et toilettes

Dernier étage, pas de possibilité d’occulter la lumière du velux situé très haut. En juin, il fait jour dans la pièce à 6h15

Accueillant et très bien situé

Appartement accueillant, décoré avec goût, d'une très grande propreté et très bien situé dans le centre historique. Il mérite bien son nom de "Cosy". Idéal pour un weed-end découverte.

Le bruit. On a souvent l'impression que les gens qui parlent dehors sont dans la même pièce et que la musique des établissements alentours vient de la pièce d'â côté. L'appartement mériterait des doubles vitrages.
