Le Palais

The location is unbeatable right off the Place de la Liberté and the Ducal Palace. The flair, especially in the evenings, is amazing and you feel inevitably part of the vibe. The apartment is very roomy - including the kitchen, great for families travelling with kids. Older children and adults need to be careful with the low ceilings coming down the stairs and low beams on the upper level.

The entrance to Le Palais is a bit dingy leading past the trash cans and the walk up to the top level makes you think twice about buying cases of wine at the many wineries in town. Parking is a good 400m away in an underground parking garage, but that is the price for staying in the pedestrian center of the city. We generally were happy with our choice but suggest to update the visitor manual to include instructions on how to use the entertainment system or, possibly, update the equipment. The same goes for the coffee maker and the electric towel racks in the bathrooms.

Great location, well equipped kitchen, spacious common areas, good air conditioning

Number of stairs required to access, late notice of requirement to pay by cash

Grosszügig und bestens ausgestattet

The location is excellent. Right at the plaza but enough off to be quieter at night. It was a heat wave and fans were provided. Rooms cooled down and the night was just fine.
