A little attention to detail would have made it outstanding. Would definitely book again.

Fantastic location. Excellent bedroom & shower / toilet. Patio area very enjoyable.

Outside area needed a clean & re paint. Advertising pictures not clear. Does not show by cabin so you do not know what you are going to get! Only one plate & dish. No plate washing facility. Had to wash in bathroom sink. 2 accommodations not private. Had to walk past neighbours accommodation. Drawers in galley filled with owners possessions.

What a unique, relaxing experience to be on the water on this fabulous, well equipped barge...

We loved the quirkiness of this old renovated barge, in a peaceful surrounding, with parking right beside it. The owner was away, but his kind, helpful son met and greeted us, showing us the ropes as it were! Steep steps go down into the rear cabin, which was clean and spacious, with a separate shower and toilet - all perfectly functional. The fan provided kept the cabin cool enough and there are plenty of electrical sockets. We didn't even switch on the large TV as we just savoured the peaceful outer deck all evening. The host told us the local eatery was closed, so we happily went to the supermarket a few miles up the road and enjoyed dinner on the well furnished and prettily lit deck. The helm area acts as a kitchenette, with a small fridge and facilities to prepare the provided breakfast: coffee, juice, milk yoghurt, fruit, soft cheese, bread, butter, pastries, jam - what more do you need? We did not see the host before we left, although we knocked on the door that leads to the front, so we just had to leave it unlocked - it seemed a nice neighbourhood, so probably fine. All in all, it was a fantastic experience...

Quirky boat stay near Dijon.

Very quirky nights stay 😁 The accommodation is small but perfectly formed. There is a shower, sink and toilet and sleeping area in the rear of the boat. The front of the boat is the owners accommodation. The top part of the boat where the ships wheel is is the kitchenette area. A continental breakfast is left here for you to have at your leisure. You can also use the seating terrace area on top of the boat, which is a great place to sit with a drink and a book. The sleeping area is small, but fine for 2 medium size adults who are happy to be cosy for the night! We enjoyed it as something a bit different 😀 There is easy parking right next to the boat. We bought food from a supermarket and had a picnic dinner on the terrace area.

As long as you come expecting it to be a bit unusual you will have a great night.

Time to walk the gangplank...

What's not to like about spending a night on a boat. This was a fun experience and our host was lovely. Everything was catered for. We had a marvelous stay. Very quiet at night too.

Nothing, but be aware this is a boat, the bedroom (cabin) is accessed by a steep stair and the bed might be awkward for anybody not too able. You board via gangplank which I loved, but some people might be nervous about that aspect.

Good fun to live on a boat, on a canal for a couple of days. Bruno, our host, kept a fair distance but was at hand if needed and was always happy to assist to ensure our stay was a happy one.

Breakfast - perfectly adequate with juice, milk, coffee machine, kettle & toaster but packet croissants and waffles. However delicious croissants and baguette in Boulangerie 1 minute walk away.

Séjour parfait

Nous avons passé deux nuits sur cette péniche au bord du lac et avons beaucoup apprécié le cadre, calme et agréable. L’appartement est très cocooning décoré avec bcp de goût et d’une propreté impeccable....On s’y sent tout de suite bien 🤩. Bruno est un hôte très professionnel accueillant et arrangeant, ce qui a rendu le séjour simple et fluide. Une très belle adresse que je recommande sans hésiter.

une nuit au calme sur la belle péniche

Nous cherchions une nuit d'étape sortant de l'ordinaire et cette belle péniche a répondu a toutes nos attentes. Bruno est super réactif et attentif a notre bien-etre. On recommande et on y retournera avec grand plaisir. Merci!

La péniche est facile à trouver car le port est en proximité d’autoroute (permet une arrivée et un départ rapide), de plus, il n’y a pas beaucoup de péniches et l’on peut facilement se garer. Le charme général est indéniable et nous avons agréablement dîné au soleil couchant du pont terrasse. L’équipement ménager est complet, et l’autoradio de la cabine est un plus, d’autant qu’il y a des cassettes avec la bonne musique de cette époque technologique.

Nous avons eu droit à la cabine 2, celle du capitaine, qui a réputation de rusticité, de praticité, de bricolage, donc les 16m2 promis sont obérés par les 4 du lit, les 3 des placards et les 3 des sanitaires. Il reste donc peu pour se mouvoir, d’autant qu’il faut éviter de mesurer plus d’1,78m. De plus, le plancher est en pente, il faut donc se méfier en descendant du lit, même si un marchepied est présent. En plein été, il fait chaud le soir et frisquet le matin, mais il est à noter que des radiateurs existent, que nous n’avons pas activés. Au total, c’est bien dépaysant, mais il faut vraiment aimer cet environnement optimisé pour bien se reposer.

Logement du marinier bien aménagé

Une vraie nuit comme chez les mariniers avec un décor bien travaillé. Attention à la hauteur sous plafond, le logement du marinier n'est pas très haut 1,8m en moyenne. La nuit a été très calme et paisible.

La barca con il suo turchese e il legno, la cura dei dettagli(libri, giochi, fumetti..), la colazione e i pasti sul divanetto vista canale, la possibilità di stare dentro e fuori, il prato davanti, i detergenti/spazzolini. Ogni piccolo dettaglio ti fa sentire coccolato e rende la vacanza un’esperienza indimenticabile.

Etwas ganz besonderes

Bruno, Kapitain der Peniche hat uns herzlich empfangen, die Peniche erklärt und uns Tips gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist schon was ganz besonderes, eine Nacht mit Hund auf einem Schiff, das Oberdeck ist für uns der schönste Teil, auf dem wir einen tollen Abend verbracht haben. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, die Umgebung z B zum See, kann man mit einem schönen Spaziergang entdecken.
