Rose Cottage - Central Dartmouth

Location is great. We always prefer this location as it is lovely for just walking into town. The property was lovely and clean and had up-to-date equipment. The size of the property was perfect for the three of us.

I can’t say there was anything I didn’t like about the property. The only problem was the fridge door was very temperament and it wouldn’t close sometimes, which was worrying as we had a little bit of food in there. Also, the key safe outside the front was set at the correct combination when we arrived so anyone could’ve taken the key out and got into the property. That might be something moving forward that you need to make sure that the combination is scrambled when the cleaners leave the property.

Very centrally placed and minutes from all of Dartmouth. Very comfortable for up to four people. Certainly recommend.

Only one bedside light in each bedroom.

Loved the location and the use of a parking permit.

Did not like the management company's overall and final response to the issues during our stay. They have failed to maintain elements of the property that have been outstanding for months and mentioned by previous guests. They have failed in their management responsibility and to offer any level of admission of liability for the state of these elements. They have failed basic customer service with no apology whatsoever for the disappointment and disgust endured. (Issues related to and not limited to the following : broken tap fittings and rotten vanity unit on first floor, blocked bathroom sinks on both floors, broken first floor bed, broken with filthy badly stained mattress, lack of mattress protectors on either bed, extractor fans not working in either bathroom, rotten sink top in kitchen under tap, constantly flickering ceiling lights, leaking shower doors in top floor bathroom, no bedside lamps in top floor bedroom, dirty blocked shower head in first floor bathroom)
