Felt like I didn't matter!

No communication whatsoever! I tried to make contact numerous times but not even a reply! I felt my predicament was completely ignored! Booking.com were looking into it but nothing from them yet.

Modern comfortable apartment for two centrally located in a historic stone terrace block.

Centrally located, lovely compact single level apartment. Amanda left us a generous Easter welcome package, thank you. Nice shower (lovely towels) in a compact but very functional modern bathroom, a very comfortable king bed separated from the kitchen/sitting room by sliding doors.

Parking is sometimes difficult, often a few hundred metres away, but there's always some free roadside parking in the general vicinity. Would have loved a small microwave but the modern compact kitchen has no room for one. It has an oven and cook top which met our needs.

It’s rustic charm with a modern feel! Amanda (owner) certainly added all the wonderful touches like a welcome basket, sweet jar and all the mod-cons! The bed was like sleeping on clouds ☁️ and so comfy!! The lounge / kitchen / dining area spacious for a couple and a dog! And on the doorstep of Holmfirth town with its many shops, cafes and restaurants. Sainsbury’s and co-op within walking distance. The Welcome Folder was a god-send filled with useful information and guidance - a must read to familiarise yourselves with the home and the area. The storage box in the lounge doubles as a coffee table and has a blanket (either for the dog or to wrap urself up in!), DVD’s, menus and places to visit including games. TV includes Netflix too if you simply want to chill and snuggle up on the sofa! All in all - the perfect tonic for a break away - thank u for everything Amanda 💞

N/A Roadworks around Holmfirth town but these do not affect your stay at the Over-Under Cottage. Parking is up a side street but you can unload the car and load up by the wheelie bins.

Home from Home in Holmfirth

Fantastic accommodation right in the heart of Holmfirth. Very comfortable and clean. Everything you could possibly need was to hand including towels, tea towels, washing up liquid, hand soap and toilet rolls. Lots of cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. And the bus station was only a few minutes away. The sound of the river through the bedroom window was very relaxing. The welcome pack left by the host was a very nice touch.

Fab place to stay right in the heart of Holmfirth where food and drink is in abundance, plus lovely walks right outside the front door...you won't need a car! Went to sleep every night listening to the river flowing outside the window.

Very clean, comfy and cosy. Amenities top notch and all that you needed. Everything matched which makes a change. Nice welcome pack aswell. Nice comfy bed, clean linen and towels.

Couldn't fault it but if nit picking bedroom could have had small wardrobe instead of wall hangers.

Location was amazing. Everything was in a walkable distance, had a variety of shops for groceries available as well as gift shops and a clothes shop nearby. Bus routes are easy to use with various bus stops for different locations
