Lovely, whimsical, comfortable place to stay with an excellent host

The place is whimsical and interesting, and a perfect size for 2 people for a weekend. There is a lovely mural on the wall, the bed is comfy and the host was really lovely and welcoming. If I ever go to holmfirth again I’d stay at this place. It’s a good location to walk to the local vineyard and into the centre of holmfirth

Superb location -easy walk into Holmfirth with numerous restaurants bars and shops. Also excellent location for some beautiful walks. Lovely host. Were left a lovely fresh loaf, butter, milk and coffee etc.. which was really greatly appreciated. Very comfy bed, peaceful and quiet. Very compact but had everything you needed. Lovely and warm and lots of hot water.

It was very comfortable, it had been made to a very high standard, very clean. Lovely quiet location with a breathtaking view. The host Kate was so friendly and helpful and all the little extras made it very special. ( fresh bread)

The location was perfect for us, and accommodation is 5 star everything thought of for a stay and so peaceful actually got the best night's sleep. Owners were just lovely, we would love to return

Lovely 2 day stay. It's hilly so good exercise and beautiful scenery.

Very interesting and beautiful decor. Compact accommodation but very comfortable for two and had everything we needed. Lovely views over the hills. Nice to be given the bread, butter and marmalade for our breakfasts. The host lives next door and was very helpful with ideas where to visit and where to eat out.
