Bad choose

The location is wonderful, close to city centre, train station, metro.

I was disappointed with the view. I have a room on the first floor with window to the small patio ( 4×6m). It was impossible to see sky, because there were 4 floors buildings around. It was claustrophobic for me.

Toilet for climbers, but great position and clean!

Great position, room daily cleaned. Nice smell in the room, although it was quite strong.

"Funny" toilet, with a quite tall sink, shower and wc on a step which could cause some trouble during their usage. Another strange thing, the mattress sounded like if it was packed in plastic (so, it's quite noisy)

The quality to price ratio is good. Communication with the staff is great. The location is perfect, close to everything. Cleaned daily.

The bathroom is very poor, the sink the size of a hand and unusable. There's no cabinet whatsoever. The bathroom is really terrible.

Great in every way - just a bit noisey.

The place was clean and the room was spacious with plenty of room for just me. I imagine it would have suited a couple too. The facilities were clean and accessible. Check in was easy and I liked the code system for the doors.

The location of my room was at the front of the building so the noise was quite bad. I'd recommend anyone staying to bring ear plugs just in case.

The location was excellent, close to shops, restaurants and attractions! The facilities were clean.

The noise. It sounds like things are exploding all around you! No AC or fan in the room. Toilet is are not close by.

Fabulous location, central to sights and restaurants. Attractively presented in a minimalist way. Good hanging space.

The ground floor foyer was dark and daunting. (It was hard to find the light switches, 1.5m in on the right hand side.) The shower was poky and its floor was cracked. The door to the balcony needed better locks. I couldn't reach the towel hooks, I'm short.

Good location in the city center, but the human-touch was absent - for 2-3 days okay

The location was in the city center, easy to find. The shared bathroom was cleaned daily but was not very nice (cleaning equipment was placed there). By fortune, other guest had their bathrooms in their room; otherwise one shared bathroom for 10 rooms would be not sufficient. The room was clean, double bed for two persons, the WIFI was working (sometimes some problems, but only for 5 minutes). The price was for my stay reasonable for the quality. Thus, the shared bathroom room should be not more than 55 Euros/night.

There was no reception and no information that there will be no person at any reception to be seen. I had no contact with the owner and thus no questions could be addressed. My room (No. 2) was very loud. There was actually no window insulation available; at 7.00 am the traffic started. The hostal name "Star Home" signals with Star a greater hospitality. The stay was okay but I missed several services like real stuff and a water boiler or a small kitchen.

Very good

The location was great and the cleaners were very good. The hotel was easy to find and very spacious.

Shower was small and the location was very noisy with lots of construction work going on however everything else was great.

A bit too minimalist

Location is great, near everything, including a supermarket. The tiles on the floor make it very authentic. Codes instead of Kees to access are also a plus, there are three doors to access the room, though. Staff was always available and helped me book a taxi early in the morning - which seemed easier said than done.

I’d say it’s less than minimalist: no cupboard, no drawers, no bedside lamps, no blanket for the night (temperatures were around 10C, a bit chilly), only one chair (in a room for two). I think it should be more functional for travelers that need to put their stuff somewhere. Towels were clean, but always with spots, which didn’t make it pleasant. Bathroom is a bit messed up, badly repaired here and there and the sign they put to inform you not to flush down toilet paper is weird.

Great location and close to the metro, easy to check in and out, we were able to store our bags as we arrived early

Great location

Super close to everything….. Had small balcony looking onto street.

Shared bathroom. Was in town for the Fallas Festival and town was jammed packed so getting a room for a few was harder than normal.

Convenient and friendly

Star home is very convenient as a stopover for a night or two. Great location in old town of Valencia. Staff extremely efficient and, friendly and helpful.

Positives; Room was tidy, super clean, environment was in the center and reachable to everywhere, room and building was also top clean and neat and super fresh room😍 Double Room was big enough for two person 😍 Hostel was in the middle of center top😍

Negative Toilet was really realy small that i could not even move. basin for washing the hands Was really too small, it would be better not to put it there 😒 Mattress and bed were really not good and pillows were catasrophic omg , such a business but could not even but pillows to such kind of hostel😕 And the door of room was not that coverable of voices that came from outside , rooms door isolation was really bed😒 Especially once more ; bed , pillows should be changed immediately... and toilet should be little mor bigger. And price was really high for that sorry

Okay for one night

Okay accomodation for one day stay, not more than that.Its a bedroom in the center of Valencia with a shared bathroom, staff is keeping it as clean as possible, but some renovating wouldnt do it harm. Cheap place if you need a place for the next day flight.

Exceptional

I recommend Star Home for couple or single. Because it's in excellent location in villa cuidad where you can just walk and you get in the most famous place in valencia like shopping market, Turia Jardin, plaza de adjustemete, market central, train station, also the bus station is just arround, the climate of valencia is good. The people also so kind, especially Maria.
