Nice, spacious cottage, nothing less than perfect for visiting Edinburgh with the trainstation of Drem on 150m distance. Clean upon arrival. We'll decorated. Friendly host (in Britten communication).
A minimum of bath and shower products would be handy, as we'll as a little bit more of provided cooking ingredients, e.g. cooking oil, some extra spices, flour, etc. Wifi was, at least during our stay, dramatic and completely unusable (we did have 5G-data though).

Lovely cottage with everything you would need. We slept so well on those comfy beds, the kitchen had everything you would need and the bathroom was fab with a great shower. The area was stunning. So many pretty places to explore in the immediate area.

Great location for trains to N Berwick and Edinburgh, in a very quiet and pretty village. The bothy is very clean and very stylishly done out, and well equipped for simple catering. Gillian was communicative and welcoming when we met her. Lovely base for exploring this part of Scotland.
It is very small such that one can only stand up in the entrance to the double bedroom (due to sloped roof), and kitchen/dining area is quite tight.

Everything we needed was there. A beautiful bothy. Very clean and close to the train station so only 25 mins from door to Edinburgh centre.
It was very quiet. Never heard a soul. Slept like a log.
