St Monans Holiday Park – Holiday Accommodation 19927 (Fidra) is a single-storey caravan in the fishing village of St Monans, Fife. The accommodation includes an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with electric fire. There are two bedrooms comprising one double and one twin, along with a shower room featuring a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Gas central heating, TV, WiFi, fuel and power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, kettle, and toaster. Outside, there is enclosed decking with furniture and off-road parking for 1 car. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Guests have free access to the facilities at Elie Holiday Park. There is a good housekeeping bond of 150 GBP.

Town: St Monans takes its name from St Monance who was killed by raiding Danes in approx 875, and is one of a collection of picturesque, traditional fishing villages in Fife’s beautiful East Neuk or ‘corner’. The village has a pub/hotel, award-winning restaurant and a café. It also has a fish merchant and a traditional fish smokehouse as well as superb views over the Firth of Forth. Just along the coast is the equally attractive village of Anstruther which is home to not only the Scottish Fisheries Museum giving a fascinating insight into the fishing industry in Scotland but also the renowned and award winning fish and chip bar. A short drive away is St Andrews, the home of golf and also Falkland village, with its spectacular palace. Slightly further afield is Tentsmuir Forest National Nature Reserve which consists of some 50 square miles of dunes, heath, lochs, forest and a large variety of wildlife. With Edinburgh only 40 miles away and easily reachable train or car, St Monans truly has something for everyone.
