This lovely modern first floor apartment is equipped and furnished to a high standard and benefits from private parking. Quality Egyptian cotton linens, towels and robes are provided. One bedroom with King Size bed and ensuite shower room. One twin with separate shower room. TV/DVD players in lounge and bedrooms with selection of DVDs, book and games. Free Internet. Dishwasher and washer dryer. The comfortable apartment benefits from a small balcony with a stunning view of the harbour and the sea and is very peaceful. Set in a modern development with private parking in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Pittenweem. 5 minutes walk from the harbour, shops and cafes, the local beach and beautiful Fife coastal path. 15 minutes drive from the historic town of St Andrews.

This property was spacious clean and in a fantastic location with great walks on the fife coast which we did to Anstruther and saint monans. Tidal pools in Pittenweem and saint monans were safe for both swimming and paddle boarding and we were lucky enough to see 3 pods of dolphins and a 15 foot baby basking shark which made our holiday complete

We were delighted to stay again in this apartment. Last time was in 2011. Clean and well equipped, and the parking is reserved. It is central for most of shops and cafés. Had a very enjoyable time.

We loved this apartment. Nice, modern furniture, fully equipped kitchen , even provided coffee pods! Bed was very comfortable and two bathrooms were great. Small shower but workable. The town, while tiny, is wonderful and everyone is kind and accommodating. Had delicious chocolate from the chocolate shop, the Clock Tower Cafe is great for breakfast and coffee. The Hub has enough grocery items for a shirt visit, the Coop in Anstruther has everything and more. The coastal towns are beautiful. St Andrews is a fascinating town. The bus was a little unpredictable so plan accordingly. Excellent visit.

Beautiful first floor apartment. Ideally situated with great views onto the sea. Very well equipped , cosy and comfy. Clean and has all mod cons - we had a great stay. Short walk down to the lovely harbour. Nice walks around the area too. Will stay again if in the area. A ++++

Absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful apartment with great views. Everything you need and more - bathrobes and toiletries provided, comfortable beds with quality linen. Tea and coffee (Costa coffee pods), even flour etc. if you feel the need to do some baking. Pittenweem and the surrounding area is lovely as is the Clocktower café with the very friendly staff and gorgeous food. Highly recommended and if we come to the area again we would definitely stay again! Oh and don't forget to visit the Falkirk Kelpies and Wheel - both worth the drive there.

We stayed for four nights here and it was great. Very well stocked with everything you’d need in the kitchen and baths. Walking distance to everything- Fife Path is just outside the door. We loved this area so much. Must see is Kellie Castle. Thank you!!!

Very homely, includes most things you require. Pretty path leading to the apartment. The allocated Parking space is extremely tight, especially to get our daughter out her car seat, so luckily we were able to park elsewhere in the car park-not sure if that would be viable during peak season with more apartments booked out. Bed very comfortable with a good range of towels provided also. Anstruther co-op is perfect for odds and ends you would require for meals in the apartment if you don’t want to eat out all the time. :)

The property was immaculate and provided all everything you could for your stay. The views from the windows down over the harbour were fantastic. Great location for village amenities and the coastal walk. We had a power cut one evening and the owner responded right away(nothing to do with the property local blackout). This stay was perfect. The directions to the property and the instructions at the property made the experience really smooth. Coming into a warm flat on our arrival was particularly welcome. The apartment is extremely well appointed, comfortable and in a great location. Everything was spotless, and the beds were really comfortable. There's plenty of space for four people, and the two bathrooms are super. You don't have to get in the car everyday to do things. It's an easy stroll to the village, the harbor, the rocks, and the coastal path for longer walks. Proximity to other coastal towns allows for variety when desired. We would go back! Kirsten is a great host and super responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at Kittiwake. It felt more like a home than a holiday let, Kirsten has got everything just perfect, (even bathrobes and luxury toiletries!). We went as a couple but the accomodation was spacious and 4 people could fit in comfortably, (especially as there are two bathrooms). This was our third visit to Pittenweem and we love the peace and tranquility of the area, it is so unspoilt. Loved the views of the sea and wildlife from Kittiwake. We were able to take our dog and find that most places along the Fife coast are dog friendly...two pubs, (our favourite place the Larochmhor where the food is lovely and always a warm welcome from Lesley and Alan!), a bistro,and several cafes in Pittenweem alone. The Bank in Anstruther also welcomes dogs, has great staff and a lovely menu. We were lucky several times on evening strolls to see seals in the harbour, (stand and stare at the water, and you will see a head or two pop up regularly!). The coastal path in either direction is lovely to wander along for as long as your legs want to take you! We recommend a stay here and thank Kirsten very much for making Kittiwake so comfortable.

From the moment we opened the door into our Kittiwake apartment we began to enjoy our holiday. Everything you could wish for, good quality furniture, well equipped kitchen, marvellously comfy bed and views from the windows to die for, including seeing dolphins on three separate occasions. What more could anyone want.

Perfect Pittenweem Retreat

The apartment is super cosy, warm, bright and sunny, and very peaceful. Ideal for a relaxing break or as a touring base. It's in a great location right beside the start of the coastal path to walk to Anstruther (20-30 minutes) and a few minutes' walk down to the harbour, with lovely views over the sea. We walked to Anstruther for local shopping and were able to sit outside and enjoy coffee at the harbour as the weather was great. Kirsten has thought of everything that guests might need and was friendly and helpful at all stages of booking. The kitchen is well equipped, the living area is comfortable as are the bedrooms, with nice linens, great fluffy towels, robes and toiletries. We had fantastic weather and enjoyed great coastal and beach walks, and pottering about in local shops and galleries in Pittenweem and Anstruther. We were reluctant to leave as we had such a relaxing weekend - which means we'll definitely be returning.

Had a lovely stay in this apartment last weekend for 2 nights with my mother and cocker spaniel. The rooms are all beautifully decoratored and so homely with everything you would need for a stay away. So glad we stayed in Pittenweem as we enjoyed the costal walk along to Anstruther which takes approx 30 mins. Kirsten emailed us before our stay to make contact which was great so we knew if we needed anything she would be on hand. Couldnt recommend this place more highly, and would love to come back and see more of the East coast another time.
