Excellent location, plenty of room for two of us + dog in Trekker Hut, facilities as expected.

The location was perfect just off the West Highland Way and very near the shops and restaurants of Tyndrum as well as right next to Lower Tyndrum station - I highly recommend the home made scones at The Real Food Cafe!
It felt a bit mean that the showers were on a push button and the mattresses had a wipe down surface but I guess we hadn't paid very much.

Good location with cozy surroundings
Mattresses did the job for a trekker hut. People with back issues might to bring a hiking mattress as well.

The hut was in an excellent location, close to the Monroes we wanted to climb
and walking distances to the shops/restaurants. The shared bathrooms and kitchen spaces were clean and tidy. The hut was basic but very cheap and as described - and all we needed for a walking holiday. We had a great time staying there.
A fan would of been nice since it got very hot at night - but not something that's needed a lot in the UK!

Very simple but perfect for our needs: a nights sleep in the West Highland Way.
The rented bed linen were fresh but the liner did not cover me in the sleeping bag, which I didn’t love with a rented sleeping bag!

The By The Way Hostel and huts are in an ideal location for walkers on the West Highland Way. Facilities were good and clean.

Location was were perfect, Ideal what I required a 2 night stay on the motorbikes, no need for tents or sleeping bags, Accomodation had 2 bunk beds big enough for 3 grown men, Microwave, kettle and small fridge.
The showers and toilets were spotless and the drying room was perfect for drying wet kit.
Plent options for food ethier pub or cafe both have gluten free menu and other diets requirements and reasonably priced

Right next to the WHW devil staircase to kinlochleven part so ideal location. Within 5 mins walk to local shops and hotels/pubs/restaurants and chippy. The amenities in the hostel are also very good. All you need is what you want to eat.
The shower was a bit on the small side for us bigger ladies , but I could always go to the other shower outside the rooms .

Very welcoming warden and a sweet site with a nice little shop. Individual shower rooms were great, with good hot water. Lovely and quiet. Luckily there was a small heater in the room.
The lino floor in the cabin was a bit municipal and made it much less cosy. It also smelt a bit “village hall”. It was ok temperature-wise but I imagine might have been a bit chilly in colder months. It seemed very clean but was a bit basic in comparison to the same at other sites.

Location, right on the WHW. Showers were warm and clean. Site is quiet and well kept. Welcome was warm and friendly
Hut was cold, heater was so loud it couldn't be used while sleeping. Beds are rubber mattresses, so don't help with the cold. The hut didn't smell great.

Was perfect for a night before a long hike
If we had known the mattresses were plastic we would of brought bed sheets, our sleeping bags and pillows just slid all over the place. Not a massive deal but will know for future stays.

Exactly as advertised. Brilliant location and very good value.
Perhaps more plug sockets (or extensions) if you have more than 2 people staying.
10.0 / 10.0
The value for money was good and the facilities were as expected. I liked the staff and check-in process which was undertaken by people rather than self check in.
The heater in the room could have been positioned so all the heat didn't collect in the top of the cabin.

This was a lovely stay! It was right on the West Highland Way which was perfect. We stayed in a trekker hut which had more than enough space for the two of us, and had a cute little porch bench which was lovely to relax on after a long walk. There was a fridge, microwave and a kettle in our hut which was great but there was a kitchen in the building if you needed more space. The staff were really lovely and helpful as well, so kept our spirits high!

Small dining area.

Very nice place along the WH way. Our hut was very clean, equipped with a kettle, four beds (no bedsheets). The hut was warm and the beds were comfortable. There is a cafe 5min far away from the place, and small grocery store. Fair price for a nice place, believe me after walking for 3 days with my big backpack I will always remember this hut, I slept like a baby:)
