An immaculate stylish private apartment 10-15 min walk to town, a beautiful view and 5 star touches - what’s not to love?! I booked this based on other reviews and you too will not be disappointed. If you are reading this, just book it. You will be met by the ‘Friend you hadn’t met yet’ nothing is too much trouble!

Perfect location. A 5 minute walk from the cafes and shops, in a quiet road with spectacular views. Parking on site. Fantastic helpful and friendly host. Nothing too much, we were treated! A perfect stay.

It was all amazing

Prefect hosts. Felt a connection as soon as we arrived and was welcomed into Gamelin. Drinks on arrival & a very warm welcome . The facilities were excellent with stunning views from the lounge window. A cute little dressing room , nice large bathroom and a comfortable large bed. Decor was lovely. Everything was just perfect !!!

These wasn’t anything not to like - other than we wished we had booked to stay longer. We will certainly return .

Jon and Mayuri where the perfect hosts . They catered to your every need. Nothing was missing for our stay Comfy bed, fabulous view from our window, all the little touches provided in your room and I won’t say more as too many others will book and we won’t t get chance to book again lol ! when we left they felt like family . Loved everything !

Location was excellent breakfast is not served but on the first morning the host made us toast and fresh fruit there was also porridge in the room.on arrival we were greeted with a glass of wine and a beer bottled water always available and the view from our room was amazing oh an chocolate in the entrance hall.very clean room and comfortable would not hesitate to stay there again

If you are looking to stay in the area then book here, as if we are ever this way again we will certainly be back! We opted for the space that had a bedroom, sitting room, ensuite and small dressing area and all were comfortable, well decorated and spotlessly clean. TV in both the bedroom and sitting area, and lovely view across the canal. The owners are so friendly and helpful, although the chocolate bowl in the entrance was way too tempting for my husband! Helpful email after booking with lots of suggestions and ideas for things to do, places to eat etc. Parking right outside the front door, and all just a short walk down into the very centre of town ( all be it a short steep bit on the way there and back) . They have thought of everything you might forget, just in case, from toiletries to toothbrushes as well as all the hot drink making etc. Access to a small fridge right outside the suite entrance in case you need it. Comfy bed, and great nights sleep. Whilst breakfast is not offered you can have toast and fruit if you'd like, and in arrival there was the offer of a welcome drink. All in all suited us way better for our stay than a hotel. Have no hesitation in recommending.

Mayuri had thought of everything even down to providing hair straighteners, shaving foam & spare toothpaste & toothpaste. The room was lovely & we were welcomed with a glass of chilled Prosecco. Will definitely recommend this place. Thank you

Our hosts were superb and looked after us impeccably. A great welcome, lots of additional touches - drinks offered on arrival, various unexpected touches - platter of prepared soft fruits orange juice, breakfast cereal pots, Princess, chocolates - even a card and specially made bunting for our Golden Wedding! Highlight was a trip round Llangollen in the owner's tuk tuk which was a great experience. Accommodation was excellent and very close to the town centre - yet still a quiet area with easy access to walks.

We loved everything. Couldn't ask for more. We had a really enjoyable extended weekend.

Its in a great location with lovely views! It was so clean and tidy and we were treated so amazingly and never had any service like that before! We were made to feel so welcome and looked after, we will definitely be returning for more trips, we loved every minute.

Mayuri is an exceptional host, who went out of her way to make our stay even more amazing. It was my husband's 50th birthday, so she had decorated our room with a banner and balloon. She even brought a cake (complete with sparkler) and sang Happy Birthday to him! Before our stay, Mayuri provided me with some great local info; particularly where to book for evening meals. We were glad we had booked in advance as there were several events on in Llangollen during our visit and some places were fully booked as a result. We had an early start on one of the days, so I'd asked if she could recommend somewhere for a quick, early breakfast. She very kindly organised fruit, juice and toast in our room before we left. The property is just as beautiful as it's hosts; immaculately presented and the whole place smells amazing, so fresh and clean. The guest suites (there are only two) have their own entrance in the property, so even though this is a homestay, you don't feel like an intruder. There was parking at the front and town was an easy stroll downhill (not so easy with a belly full of food on the way back uphill!). My husband had spotted a Tuktuk on the driveway, which Mayuri was happy to show us. She even took us out for a tour of town in it; we felt like VIP's! The rooms have been well thought out, beautifully furnished with the lounge affording spectacular views over the canal and surrounding countryside. Our room had a bath and shower and I loved the little dressing room area, complete with illuminated mirror, hairdryer and straighteners. The bed was possibly the most comfortable we've ever slept in. With high quality linen, it was like sleeping in a cloud. We were made to feel so welcome, so thank you Mayuri, John and Lilly (their super cute dog). We have already recommended Gamelin to our family and friends and we will 100% be back again.

We could not fault anything about our stay. There was nothing to dislike.

The property is gorgeous , set in a stunning location with amazing views. it was super clean and had everything that you could possibly need during your stay.

I would have liked a firmer mattress but that is personal preference and wouldn’t deter me from coming back! We will defo return, it was simply amazing 🤩

absolutely faultless

Liked that it was out of town but we could walk to town in about 5mins. The views were brilliant. Hosts lovely, knowledgeable and helpful. Fresh fruit for breakfast and complimentary drinks. Had lovely weekend walking locally and exploring Llangollen especially tea shops and foodie places! Lots more great too.

Mayuri our host was just the best. On arrival she gave us complimentary prosecco and a bottle of beer which was a nice touch, she was attentive and went above and beyond for us during our stay. The room was great, the bed was comfy, the shower was powerful and the view from the bedroom was just sublime. The whole place exceeded our expectations and we will certainly be back in the summer.
