Nice but expensive.

The property was aesthetically pleasing, in a great location with accessible amenities. It was well kept and bed was comfy. The bottle of wine was a nice touch.

The property was very very cold, despite use of the radiators. We left the radiators on at all times but still woke up shivering, with condensation on the inside door handles and walls. We were absolutely freezing, especially after use of the hot tub! Granted, it is January however the radiators are not large enough to warm the entire cabin. There is no oven, so if you are staying a few nights you can’t cook. The shower is incredibly small and me and my partner both kept banging our elbows on the sides of the shower! The water in the shower is also not the warmest. We had some issues with the tv and remote working, which my boyfriend resolved. We did contact Angie regarding this, but she never got back to us. The bowls provided weren’t clean and had to be rewashed. We could only find one toilet roll and no further bin bags. The hot tub was lovely but not particularly private. Cars can drive past and see in, and when getting in and out you are also visible. It seemed the other cabins had a bit more privacy than ours. For £175 a night, the smaller details really matter and left us a little dissatisfied with our stay. We would return to Llangollen, however we would opt for somewhere where we get more for our money.

Very happy, excellent facilities

The hot tub was set up resdy, the bed was very comfortable. The key was easy to access, it was quiet and no litter. Private parking for the cabin. It was nice and warm, the built in radio and speakers were good too

No enclosed area for the got tub which would give a dig a bit if free space, plus it gives a bit more privacy in the hot tub

The room was clean and exactly as described.

The light outside by the hot tub didn't work due to it being solar enable so of an evening we were sat in the hot tub with only the tubs built in lights on. More permanent lighting would be worthwhile and safer.

Nice relaxing stay

It was a really enjoyable stay the cabin has everything you need and the little extra detail of a bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. The hot tub was ready on arrival and was amazing. We will be returning

Clean, cosy, great location, I would recommend and would definitely be back.

Ideal location, short walk down the canal path into the town centre. Host left a bottle of Prosecco and packet of biscuits on our arrival which was a lovely touch. The lodge was clean, cosy, heating system was easy to use. Clean towels left, we didn’t use the cooking facilities so cannot comment. Hot tub had a lovely view of the hills.

A cosy, beautifully situated lodge with a gorgeous view of the rolling hills at sunset. The host was incredibly approachable, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Close to home comfort & relaxation

We stayed at Easter weekend April 2025 so this is our second stay Says a lot about the quality of our time!

The one thing is its proximity to the entrance road in and out of the site,only that it’s the first lodge cabin on the left-hand side Folk tend to stare in,look towards the lodge and that we had to be mindful of I guess Also,we brought a screen to put up to keep it a little more private and to minimise risk of our staffy dog leaving the lodge area when we would use the hot tub He fretted if we left him in the cabin!

We had an excellent short stay, the lodge is clean and comfortable and the hottub was perfect.

The property was clean and the hottub was ready when we arrived! We met the site manager when we got there and she was lovely and gave us some tips on places to eat! The site is in a great location.

The shower is a little small but we managed just fine. The lodge was very warm due to the weather and the fan provided was too dirty/dusty to use.

Excellent location if visiting the Eisteddfod Pavilion and the lodge provided what was needed.

The email containing detailed directions and the key box access code was sent on the morning we were travelling. This should be sent the day prior to the booking date. Which I had requested. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

A perfect stay for our wedding anniversary

What’s not to like about Berwyn Lodge, stayed for a couple of nights, stunning property and only a 5 minute walk to Llangollen, the Hot tub was ready to use on arrival and was a lovely addition. The lodge itself has all you need…..can’t fault it at all, we will definitely be staying again.

Absolutely lovely!

This beautiful lodge is in a wonderfully quiet location. The plot it is on has no neighbours on one side and a large gap between neighbours on the other. It's a minutes walk from the canal and a few minutes walk into town. We arrived to the private hot tub ready for use. It is very private and you are not overlooked when your in the tub. There was a complimentary bottle of wine and a packet of cookies which we thought was a lovely touch. The fixtures and fittings inside the lodge were really nice quality and the hosts had though of everything you may need. There was two pillows (each) and a really comfy double bed. The shower was great - hot and powerful. Towels were provided but we took extra because of the hot tub. There's parking right next to the lodge for one vehicle. We could not find any fault with this property and would definitely recommend it.

Such a lovely place! Great location very quiet and peaceful right by the canal and the pavilion. Great views and a 5-minute walk from the centre of town. The facilities were great. Cabin was surprisingly roomy beds were super comfortable and the TV was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was lovely and clean and very relaxing. I also really enjoyed the speaker in the ceiling as I could play my music and hear it all over the cabin.

I didn't receive an email with the code to the lock box and so I had to find a staff member who then had to message the owner and get a code for the lock box but that was a very minor issue and was handled very well

Comfy little hideaway with a private vate hot tub Spotlessly clean Little snug for us and our elderly dog Close to Llangollen town and the canal The sounds predominantly were the occasional steam train,the horses hooves from the canal barge shires and the blackbird that sand every morning

Toilet roll quality wasn't too great and not much of it. Some more attention to details for cleaning such as the towel rail still had dust and marks in the toilet but 9/10 for cleanliness :)

Jacuzzi was good to go from arrival. Complimentary wine and cookies was a nice touch. Looked exactly like the photos. Property clean and has all the essentials.

Communication via booking message service was quite delayed. Having spare towels in the property would be better then recommending to bring extra for the jacuzzi.
