We came from Cheshire for a nights respite, due to caring for my mother 24/7. Unfortunately the weather was not kin

The property itself was ok and adequate. Good location and very easy check in. The hot tub was ready as requested, thank you.

There was a lack of kitchen utensils. Only one saucepan and a very small frying pan. The plates did not match and only 1 wine glass. A tea towel would have been useful as well as a dustpan and brush. My husband and I like to leave properties as we find them, if not better. I think the £175 was a bit excessive in view of the above.

lovely early christmas present to us

everything, such a snuggly cosy little place to stay for some time to relax, it was lovely and very much needed! the views and the hot tub was fab just what you need for a winter escape!

Just the Bed, it could do with an upgrade. we could feel the frame underneath us and we ended up squished in the middle...when your old and creaky and your hubby snores its not the most romantic 🤣🤣

Hidden little gem beautiful clean and everything you need

Hidden little gem had a beautiful nights stay in the shepherds hut clear instructions on how to get keys a lovely touch was the procecco on arrival spotless cabin everything you need very modern shower was very powerful and the outside furniture and hot tub were amazing very private hot tub very clean and lovely and warm about a 10 min walk either along the canal or road into the town wonderful stay would defo come back 1 little thing there’s a little mat to wipe your feet on when you go in then laminate floor it could really do with a bigger mat as was raining when we got there so floor was very wet and especially when we went back in from being in the hot tub it was very slippy minor little thing tho

The lodge was clean, well maintained, Sarah was lovely enough to put banners, balloons around the room & also left us a bottle & some shortbread for my boyfriends 25th birthday. Could not fault a thing! Everything worked as it should. We also loved the hot tub as it was very secluded and it did not matter what time you stayed in it until. With the utensils the lodge was equipped with we also managed to cook a full English, The grounds were lovely and tidy as well.

Lovely little Lodge. Had everything you needed. Really cosy and in a good location.

The bed was quite uncomfortable. One side felt like it was at an angle. Cleanliness in the bathroom could have been better, considering its such a small place. Other slight nit pick was that the tv remote and another remote (couldn't work out what it did as we couldn't use it!) didnt have any batteries. All things considered, we enjoyed our stay and would likely give it another go if in the area

Amazing place!

It was incredible. Great location, lovely place to stop. We will definitely be visiting again. The lodge overlooks the river which is a really nice touch, the location is stunning and very quiet. The hot tub was warm and ready for our arrival and the bottle of wine was thoroughly enjoyed by us. The lodge was immaculately clean and very nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable and I really liked that it had a Bluetooth system and a tv. Parking is great. Only a short walk into the town.

Bijou studio single room with minimal cooking facilities and tiny bathroom in a beautiful location.

The location for the Eistedffod was perfect Views from the property and walks from the door amazing The hot tub was great!

This property was marketed as 1bedroom, but in reality it is a tiny one room studio. The bed occupies half the space of entire room, there is no storage for clothes suitcase etc, so these a cluttering up the rest of the room. Cooking facilities and equipment very limited. No oven.

Beautiful stay in a gorgeous location.

Beautiful location. Easy access to the town and falls along the beautiful canal. Site manager very welcoming and helpful. Hot tub was lovely.

Previous people that stayed underwear on radiator, Hairs in bed Food left in fridge and dirty Shower leaks water everywhere No control for heating so freezing at night Shower super small Massively over priced for what you get No where to store clothes No ironing facilities Both phone chargers plugged into electrics now have water damage and do not work. Glad we didn’t bring our dog as says dog friendly but it wouldn’t work. Advertised with sauna there isn’t one. Advertised check in 12pm it’s 2pm Advertised check out 12pm it’s 10am

Everything was perfect. It was super clean, the speaker in the roof was mint, loved everything!

Lovely clean modern lodge , loved the black out blinds and the hot tub area , really appreciated that dogs were allowed and staff really understanding and great communication

The only thing that we would of liked to improve is the wifi network as Netflix was buffering a lot at night and we couldn’t watch a film

Amazing place, will be coming back

Great location, quiet, lovely surroundings. Decor of the lodge itself, like home from home on a smaller scale which we loved. That dogs were allowed to come. Very clean lodge, smelt amazing when you entered.

The bed itself was quite uncomfortable it felt as if you was on a tilt, pillows needed more support.. woke up with an awful creek in my neck and back but could be my age or just me being picky here amazing throughout otherwise! Fences could be added for underneath the lodge, we have a Chihuahua that kept getting underneath!! Just a bit more enclosed by the side of the lodge!

Very clean and tidy with everything you would want from a cabin. Car parking space was useful also. Hot tub was excellent and the speaker in the ceiling was a good touch A comfy bed and plenty of blinds/curtains for those who like a long snooze as its a relatively quiet campsite
