Bryn Aber-The House on the Hill

We stayed here as a group of seven and absolutely loved it. The house was spotless and really well equipped, with brand new appliances and everything in great condition. The little garden terrace was a real highlight – perfect for relaxing with a beautiful view of the mountains in the background. The location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk to the town centre. Check-in was super easy, and the host was really kind and welcoming. Honestly, we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay it made our trip even more special.

We - a party of 2 aged grandparents, 2 parents and 2 grandchildren - stayed at Bryn Aber for 2 nights early in July. In an attempt to be different from the earlier "rave" reviews, I will start with the negatives: 1. The photos do not come close to doing justice to the accommodation, and 2. We should have stayed much longer. That apart, our stay was perfect. The pre-arrival information was excellent - including a detailed map and photos of how to find the property and details of the local parking (2 locations within a couple of minutes walk). The location was perfect, minutes from the centre of town. The accommodation was outstanding, decorated to a very high standard, spotlessly clean, and with everything needed for our too-brief stay. "Everything" included a selection of books and board games - most of which were brand new. The kitchen was a highlight, again very high quality, all very new, and, at risk of adding a third negative, made our kitchen at home seem humble in comparison. All 4 double bedrooms were very comfortable, and the views from inside and outside the house amazing. Overall an absolutely absolutely faultless stay, we'd certainly recommend Bryn Aber to anyone looking for accommodation, and we hope to return.

Great location, very close to town, lovely views. The house is immaculate and decorated beautifully. It has everything you need, lots of kitchenware, toiletries, towels so you don't need to bring anything with you. The host is very helpful and will answer questions promptly. Parking is on street, 2 minutes walk from the property. I would recommend this house and return.
