Great place to stay close to Llangollen

Comfortable, spotless, charming, well equipped accommodation - thoughtful pint of milk in fridge on arrival as well as little pots of jam and other goodies. Beautiful rural location a quick drive from the village centre.

Lovely stay, host, town and we will be back again!

Lovely cottage, it had everything we needed for our stay, loads of parking as we were a group of friends and the town is excellent for food, beer and activities.

Absolutely recommend the cottage and the host is amazing but the walk up and down the hill is pretty major so we needed to get quite a few taxis over the weekend, fine is you are driving the whole time.

Lovely cottage, great location with scenic walks from the doorstep. Only a short drive into Llangollen centre. Amiable, attentive host and great facilities. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom.

Perfect host, very friendly and helpful. Barn beautiful, lots of little touches to make stay perfect. Exceptionally clean and presented well. We recommend staying for a little slice of heaven.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning and quiet location. Good size back garden with fantastic views. Easy parking and cottage was completley kitted out with everything we'd need.

Nothing. We only stayed for two nights for a wedding, so didn't explore. Will definitely be back.

We had a really lovely stay..beautiful location...so peaceful.....we slept really well. The personal touches by the owner were much appreciated. Everything you could possibly need was to be found in the cottage.If we were to visit the area again we would have no hesitation in recommending Owl Cottage it was perfect for us.

Wifi a little slow but that may be the country location...less time on the phone no harm!

Gorgeous house in a gorgeous area

It was so peaceful with wildlife all around you. Beautiful walks right outside your front door, and an easy drive to places you want to visit.

lovely place but wish it was more central away from steep narrow road

no breakfast here as self catering , I loved the cottage and the views, watching nature, rabbits, sheep, pheasants it opposite field and nesting of wagtails in the barn next door.

the drive up from Llangollen was for my small car awful, not sure my clutch will recover, very very steep and narrow. WIFI very poor for my laptop and just a bit better for phone :(

The location is really beautiful. The property is comfortable, clean and spacious. The garden is lovely and the whole place is very, very quiet. (You need to know that it is a mile or so up a steep, narrow road which can be hairy driving and requires decent walking shoes in the wet! ) The owner was very helpful and pleasant
