It can be a nice apartment with better management

The location of the property was close to the Bansko lift and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. On the ground floor there was a coffee machine from which you could take different types of coffee or chocolate drink without additional charges.

The room was heated by central heating with an additional heating and cooling air conditioning system. When we asked from the lady manager to provide us the remote for the air condition, she replied that the temperature in the room should be satisfactory for us. I replied that since we are booking an apartment that an air condition is included in the room she is obliged to provide us the remote control. So , the lady manager decided to keep track when we were entering the apartment to activate the air-condition(at 23 degrees) and each time we were leaving the apartment to deactivate the air condition. This is not a professional approach to manage an accommodation especially during the winter ❄️ and especially when the air condition is included in the amenities of the apartment.

It’s somewhere in between the ski gondola lift (30min walk) and bus station to Sofia (15min walk). The old town is 5-10min walk away. Large supermarket 5min away. Easy to access to everything. The studio flat is clean, bright, spacious. If you don’t book a flat, there’s a little shared kitchen and free coffee machine at the basement. Liked the shower with stable hot water and good pressure. Easy communication with host. I felt very comfortable during my stay.

Almost no sound insulation so you can hear any movement upstairs and in the next rooms. Not a problem for me at all.

simply, wonderful.

The marvelous thing about this place is the land-lady. She was very hospitable and generous. For example, even though she usually prefers not to provide breakfasts, she did it for us for a very (too) modest price. The garden is beautiful. The house is close to the center. 10 minutes walk. Frankly, I whole-heartedly recommend this guest house.

Lovely place to stay

The guest house is in a great location – just a 5mins walk to a big supermarket and about 10mins to the center. The host is very welcoming and helpful. The room was brand new, spotless, spacious, and come with a balcony, good Wi-Fi, a fridge, and a kettle for hot water. The backyard/garden is beautiful and includes a well-equipped summer kitchen. There are also coffee machine with capsules and even a coffee vending machine. Overall, it’s a really lovely place to stay!

If you’re planning to visit during the summer, be aware that there’s no air conditioning, so the rooms can get quite hot.

Classical "Expectations vs. Realty" case

The whole accommodation is a scam. I had booked a "double room with queen bed". You can see what is "queen bed" according to the landlady from my pictures below. She was super insolent, rude and in her opinion this is the same room as the pictures in Booking. We had paid 170 BGN for two nights, after the first night we decided to leave, because it was super uncomfortable. She had returned us 70 BGN, because of "Booking.com taxes". Here you can experience the classical Bulgarian mentality "trick you once". Also the heat was off, because of the "temperature standard". It was super cold when we arrived. I totally don't recommend this accommodation, unless you have fetish for suffering or something.

Avoid this rental at all costs, especially if you are looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay !

My stay was a disappointing and frankly unpleasant experience. Here is a list of problems encountered: Entrance door closed after 10:00 p.m. without assistance: When coming back from my dinner after 10:00 p.m (check-in done at 5pm), the front door was closed, and there was no one there to open the door for us. My phone calls to the host went unanswered, and no help was available. Waiting outside on a freezing night at -2 degrees for two long hours was unacceptable. Endless waiting: To make matters worse, I had to wait two hours before someone finally came to open the door. The only reason I got support was because of my repeated calls to customer support. This prolonged wait in the freezing cold could have been avoided with more professional management of the situation. Lack of sympathy on the part of the host: During our interaction, the host demonstrated a distinct lack of sympathy. Not only was she unwelcoming, but she also asked me to prove that I had a reservation, despite our exchanges on chat. This behavior is unacceptable and contributed to making my stay particularly unpleasant. Attempted intrusion into my room: The next day, the host reached an incredible level of discomfort while trying to enter my room, thinking I was not there. This unsolicited intrusion created an even more hostile atmosphere and greatly tainted the privacy one can expect during an stay. To top it all off, although I had specifically booked a double bed, upon arrival, I discovered that the room was equipped with two single beds. In addition to the problems already mentioned, another major inconvenience was the plumbing problem in the bathroom. The shower had a leak which caused flooding in the main room. This issue could have been avoided with regular inspection by the host. In summary, I absolutely do not recommend this accommodation. The issues encountered, from lack of support to the host's unfriendly attitude, created an overall negative experience.

Perfect studio accomodation for a couple

Easy to park in front of, not far at all from the main ski area/ gondola etc (approx 13-15 min walk) which was perfect. Perfect size for a couple, very clean and kitchenette was equipped with basic pot, pan etc which was good. Also free coffee from the machine downstairs which was pretty decent and was a nice touch. Really good value for money IMO - wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Not much to dislike, host was very responsive when we needed something. Open shower plan was a bit strange - as it’s a first for me (from AUS) but not an issue. Wifi could be better.

I wouldn’t book this property again.

I liked the garden only.

First , there were no toiletries whatsoever in any of the bathrooms on our floor. In my opinion, to much with the given category of this guest house , there should have been the minimum of the requirements in regards to the above matter covered, such as shampoo and shower gel supplied in every bathroom. Second, the place meant for cooking is quite inconvenient, especially if you go there with small kids, meaning that the only facility available for that during our stay was the barbecue kitchen, which is outside. There was no up-to-date information, which should have been provided by the host on the website of Booking. com to say that the indoors tavern / kitchen of the property was out of use ( under some renovation). Moreover, we were told that, there would be an extra charge for wood applied to your bill should we wished to fire the barbecue and have some meet grilled there. Third, although it is stated in the guest house’s description that breakfast is served upon request at additional cost, which we were fine with, it took us much effort to convince the hostess to cook us some.

Great value for the price! Clean and very well maintained. Beautiful garden. Apartments are very well equiped and space is sufficient. We stayed with our 8-month twin babies and we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very nice and responsive. I recommend for a family stay and we'd be definitely coming back to this place again.

The shower hose was leaking. The drainage in the bathroom was too slow. No mosquito net on the bathroom window.

A great place for few days or more

A great place for at least few days stay. There is almost everything you need to live comfortably in town. the only thing that are missing are few things in the kitchen (no oven, no salt and cooking oil, no cutting board). But I managed without them and I had everything else that I needed.

Warm and comfortable, good for money

The studio was large and comfortable. It was very warm (except in the bathroom) and the wi-fi was great. Easy to park a car on the street and it’s just a 10 min walk from the central street with the restaurants. It also had a machine for free coffee/tea/hot chocolate. And last but not least, there was a room for the ski equipment.

- The blanket was very short for a 1.85m person and it felt cold on the legs. - In another room (not the studio) there was a bad smell.
