Nice property in great location

A non-event - and I will NEVER book a property managed by EVOLVE again

36 hours before we were due to land in Hawaii, we received an email simply stating that "Your reservation has been cancelled" - no further information given. There's nothing like arriving in a foreign country with no accommodation! After a flurry of panic, we managed to book alternative accommodation. Only the next day (now less than 24 hours before flying to Hawaii) did we receive a follow up email stating that repairs were being done to the property and offering us alternatives. This would have been a great email to receive first and would have saved us a lot of stress and money! Evolve seems to be an extremely unprofessional company - we spent a good long while on the hotel telephone trying to reach any of the numbers given - to no avail. What is the point of giving numbers for the host and the company if one goes directly to voicemail and the other 2 just go round and round in an automated queue? Never again - I would caution against booking any property managed by Evolve.

Central location, walking distance to everything, nice air conditioning, practical kitchen, all good

The place was perfect. Underground (read: shady) parking, elevator, air conditioned (important in Kona), nice lanai, comfortable bed, the kitchen was well appointed with a few basic items (coffee, salt & pepper etc.), and the storage had everything you need (beach chairs, cooler, boogie board).

Great apartment and location.

The location was excellent. Numerous restaurants within walking distance. Apartment was very well stocked in the kitchen (cooking spices, cooking oil, coffee & filters, etc). Also beach supplies in the hall closet (chairs, umbrella, towels, soft cooler and pool noodles). Sunscreen is in the bathroom medicine cabinet.

We had trouble finding the property. The entrance is behind the building on a different street, not Ali'i drive. The building looks kind of old and the parking garage is scary with numerous structural supports, but had no complaints, and we're very pleased with, the apartment itself.

Beautiful, clean well stocked condo close to swimmable beaches, restaurants and shops. Check-in instructions were easy and clear and host was available, friendly and helpful.

Person in on site “property management” office was not very friendly and there was some construction going on in nearby condo but nothing too disturbing.
