Fab October break, would recommend.

Modern property, beautiful views, well maintained, complimentary snacks were lovely, friendly and efficient staff and hot tub was lovely. Breakfast basket was delicious and the food truck was tasty. Had lovely treatments from Claire at the wellness centre. We used the projector to watch The Traitors together at night.

Only minor things, as we really enjoyed our stay. For a family of 4 using the sofa bed there was no storage nearby. There was no lock on the toilet or shower door which teenage girls didn’t like. No towel holder or hook in the toilet meant the towel often ended up in the way or the floor. Because there was 4 of us using the hot tub and showering anther towel rail to dry items off would have been better.

Magical Glamping Pods in Glencoe

This was one of our favorite stays on our Scottish Holiday. The pods are magnificent to say the least. Everything from their exterior to the interior has been thoroughly thought through in design for aesthetics and functionality. The pod was incredibly comfortable even with 3 people staying in it. The deck is large and spacious and they had the hot tub ready and at the right temperature for us to enjoy. We didn't even mind the cool rain. It was a magical stay is all I can say. We only stayed for a night and didn't get to enjoy the grounds but there is much that the estate offers to do in addition to enjoying the wonderful Glencoe valley. We plan on coming back again and staying for a longer period of time.

Fabulously relaxing special birthday break!

Lodge was clean, fresh and modern with lots of little extras that I didn't expect to be included. Booked some extras for a special birthday and they were all as promised.

A couple of minor points. The heated towel rail is outside the toilet door, therefore you are either dripping wet hands down the lovely glass door or , if you have the hand towel in the loo, there's nowhere to hang it up! A towel ring in the loo please! The TV in the bedroom is quite small by modern standards and has very limited channels. Not even a full range of Freeview channels.

Overpriced venue with an overinflated and arrogant opinion of themselves and their product.

The pod itself was lovely, well appointed with nice touches such as projector and screen, mood lighting, and electrically operated curtains.

No attempt was made to reduce insects. Would it really be that difficult to have citronella, for example? This made it very difficult to just sit out on the deck which was a shame. The fridge was very small which is odd in what is, essentially, a self catering property. The biggest issue is that the check in and check out times make the property impractical for a single night stay. The owners could simply refuse to take single night bookings in order to ensure that their customers have a good experience but, particularly when you factor in their dynamic pricing model, it is clear that they only care about money and not about customer satisfaction. This was epitomised when we woke up on my partner’s birthday which they knew about as I paid extra for the room to be decorated and realised that we would have benefited from an extra half hour or so in order to not be rushed in checking out but this was refused. There is simply no rational basis to refuse half an hour of extra time and I have never experienced such poor customer service at such an expensive property in my entire life. The breakfast basket had a note which even that if you stayed longer you would be charged £90 for each hour. I would have happily paid the extra but was told this wasn’t possible so why mention it on the card??

Nice place to stay, super clean, including the jacuzzi - but pricey

It was fun staying in a pod that was like a bit aeroplane cabin, and the jacuzzi was lovely and warm. The entire place, including the jacuzzi was clean to a 10/10 standard. Unfortunately the breakfast - two croissants to share (?)/2 slices of bread and some fancy yoghurt - was a bit miserly for the price, and overlooking the shore would have been great if there hadn't been a main road between us and it. Overall, nice, good views, clean but just too much for pay for what you received unfortunately. We did enjoy it though.

Glamping

Baked goods were delivered to our doorstep with an assortment of jams and 2 cups of delicious parfait. Qi chargers were at each bedside. The kitchenette was fully equipped. The shower had good temperature and pressure.

WiFi stopped working early in the night; no reception was available only a duty officer for emergencies. The projector relies on Chromecast so no movies as we had planned. The midges made it difficult to soak in the hot tub. Although air conditioned, it took far too long to cool off the room.

Unique accommodations at a steep price

Beautiful location with very unique accommodations. Stayed in a “Seabed” room. Very modern design pod. The breakfast that was included with our stay was delivered to our pod and was really very nice.

Fantastic for two people (a couple), not great for 4 guests. The pull out sofa mattress is awful. Also receptionist at check in seemed to draw great pleasure from informing you that you will not check in a minute before 4pm. So your very expensive night is 18 hours. You better be out by 10am or you will be charge an additional £90. (This note came with the breakfast basket)

Great stay with great views

Fantastic stay, this was our second visit at woodlands and our first time in the bigger units and would definitely come back! High class and high tech. We felt like royalty waking up and going to sleep with the best views!

Some little minor things were lacking like the fridge being only big enough to hold maybe 4 little bottles of water and nothing more substantial. Shower was lovely but it needs a place to get a towel within privacy.

Perfect February Romantic Getaway

This place is pure luxury and the perfect place to spend a few days with your partner to get away and reset. It would even be ideal to reset yourself here on a solo trip. The technology in the lodge is just enough to make you completely comfortable whilst not detracting from the rural feel. The hot tub is a plus, especially in the evening and when it's a clear sky. Staff go above and beyond, and nothing is a bother.

The most amazing experience, breath taking views and exceptional attention to detail

The setting was beautiful. The villa itself was exceptional there was everything you could wish for in there. The service and breakfast was unbelievable. The honestly bar was a very good touch.

The touchscreen system for the lights, curtains etc we loved the projector. The bed was comfy. Cleaned daily. The hot tub was perfect temp when we got there.

Amazing views, perfect for a relaxing break. Very clean, attentive staff, modern with all the amenities. Great breakfast! Jacuzzi was the perfect temperature, out door space was also very tidy. Bed was huge and plenty of wardrobe space. We booked some activities which were really fun with Chris, who’s also very knowledgeable of the area and gave us some great recommendations.

Everything was perfect could have had a slightly bigger fridge if staying for longer than 2nights. Maybe add an air fryer as there is no oven.

A lovely escape to luxury.

The lodge was beautiful. Very well equipped, super comfy bed, and the whole place was immaculate. A lovely wee spot of luxury with a rather lovely hot tub. Nice touches throughout with high end fixtures and fittings. Breakfast was really tasty, and the snacks provided were a bonus. It was really cold when we stayed but the lodge was toasty, and perfect for a movie on the projector. We even brought our dog, and she had a great time too.

The road was a little closer than would have liked but it didn’t spoil our stay.

Very expensive, disappointed in breakfast which is no good if you don't like yoghurt and cheese. A choice of breakfasts should be given either on arrival or chosen when making the booking. Coffee pods - yuk! Would prefer cafetiere and locally roasted coffee. The glamping pods will be more private when hedgerows grow but could see and hear other guests who could see and hear us sonatas private as qe had hoped. Also full view of pur pod and hot tub from road below,
