The property felt new. Finishes were lovely and basket of treats to welcome were a nice touch. Space was beautiful and inviting. While the welcome book was incorrect in amenities, it was a wonderful bonus to have both a dishwasher and a tumble dryer.
Some of the orange juice in the refrigerator was past its expiration date. The person at the reception/check in desk told us breakfast was included and would be delivered to our door, but when the window of delivery came and went and no breakfast was delivered, the person working the desk in the morning said we, in fact, did not have breakfast included and a somewhat unsatisfactory apology was given. We weren't expecting a breakfast, but do have your hopes built up and then to receive a lame, somewhat insincere apology offered was quite disappointing. Would like to have had dishtowels or paper towels provided in the kitchen. Also, the property map is somewhat inaccurate with location of all buildings on the site, so driving to your residence is a bit trickier than it should be.

This was the perfect luxurious end of our week in Scotland. A big private cottage, our own prewarmed hot tub with spectacular views. It all felt pretty newly renovated and suited our needs. Lovely home, lovely stay! Also the guys at the foodtruck were so nice, great food.
We were lucky as to stay during the Scottish heatwave and the home wasn’t really ready for that, so it overheated pretty much during the day, but what can you expect of a place in Scotland.

We enjoyed the extra space for our party of 4, back deck, hot tub, and views. Large beds and bathrooms along with washer/dryer were much appreciated.
There was a bit of heat wave when we visited and the home was very hot when we got there. With no ac, We opened up the windows and cooled things down comfortably. The next day the wind died down and the midgies found us.
