Rye Treat

The property was immaculate and looked exactly as it does in the photos. Our room and bathroom were both spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well maintained. The private patio area outside was a real bonus - peaceful, comfortable and a lovely place to sit and relax. What really made our stay special, though, were the hosts. They were exceptionally kind, warm and hospitable, and nothing was too much trouble. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast provided was delicious and beautifully presented with a little of everything for everyone’s taste. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for somewhere clean, comfortable, peaceful and welcoming.

The room was a little on the small side, although it was very clean and comfortable. As the bedroom windows face the street, there was some road noise when they were open. We stayed during particularly warm weather, so we needed to keep them open at night, which made the noise a little more noticeable. This was only a minor point and didn’t detract significantly from an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

A very comfortable stay with everything I needed, perfect for a solo traveller but would also be great for a couple too. Relaxing patio area included. I felt separate enough from host to come and go as I pleased without disturbing her but also able to keep in contact if needed. Outside street parking was available. Great location overall: a pleasant 13 mins walk to Rye town centre. Close to train station, bus stops and handy large supermarket. Beatrix was very welcoming and friendly and served a delicious breakfast!
