This property provided everything our family group of 5 adults needed for a comfortable few days in Kyoto. The underfloor heating was lovely. The handbook about the property was very useful.
The steep stairs may not suit everyone. Information was provided about the labels for buttons on the air conditioning unit remote. Some more information about how to use it would have been helpful. It would also help if the information about the extra curtains provided to blackout the bedroom windows was in the property handbook. When we visited there was information on a laminated card in the wardrobe that got covered up on the evening we arrived and that I found on the day we left.

Location was good to get around kyoto. About a 20 min walk to the station. Facilities were good with 2 toilets and a good large sofa for 5 people to sit around

The facilities and amenities were good and we liked the living room with Smart TV. The beds were comfy. Location was pretty good and it was easy to pick up the access code in front of Kyoto station. There is a free shuttle service which is nice if you have a lot of luggage. Otherwise it's only a 10 min walk.
The apartment we rented was not clean, there was dust everywhere and we even found some money on the floor. There was mold in the bathroom, on the floor and on the bath headrest. Airco and other filters need to be cleaned as well.
During check-in we discovered that the staff had given us the wrong code for the door, but this was fixed and the staff apologised so it was okay.
