Exceptional

We stayed with our family in 2 comfortable lodges. Very close to the lodges there is a pool with an amazing view over the mountains. The host Pierluigi is very friendly and can provide all info of the area.

Beautiful rural stay

Perfect size cottage for two witha comfortable bed, black out shutters and good quality mosquito nets fitted on all windows. Kitchen had all crockery, utensil, pans etc that you could possibly need. Note that there were no basics like oil or washing up liquid though, so plan ahead. Very clean! Grounds were so beautiful, the salt water pool was so clean and the pool area was perfect. Walkable to a couple of nearby towns and a bus that comes a couple of times a day just a 15mins walk away. If you hire a car/moped then there is plenty parking. We rented bikes and they were e-mountain bikes which were very well maintained and super fun. There were so many beautiful towns within cycling distance. Lots of great advice on routes (cycling and walking!) from PiereLuigi, very grateful. Also a very helpful information pack on arrival. Angela and PiereLuigi are very contactable, so so helpful and friendly. I really felt relaxed and at home. Thank you!

Swimming pool with gorgeous view. Enough privacy, quite environment. Great personal recommendation what to do around ( we did one of the hikes in the Apuan Alps).

Peace, loneliness, nature.

Very nice and quiet accommodation in a detached house by the forest. Friendly and kind owners who are happy to advise. Beautiful surrounding landscape. As cyclists, we appreciate the consideration of local drivers.

Very relaxing stay with welcoming hosts

Location, friendliness of the host, breakfast. Free box of home grown vegetables and bottle of wine.

We booked a 2 bedroom house but were given an apartment with no outdoor space or table this was blamed on booking.com but there is an internal message in which we highlight that we wanted a house. The apartment was comfortable but lacking some basic amenities which would have made life easier. For example there was no oil, salt & pepper, tea towel, only one bin bag. These are minor issues but given how remote the location is having a few essentials for cooking would make a big difference.

Een Toscaanse droom

Het uitzicht was als een scène uit een Italiaanse film. Het was heerlijk rustig. Alle accomodaties staan ver uit elkaar zodat je je alleen op de bergtop waant. De woning was van alle gemakken voorzien en was gezellig ingericht. Het zwembad was prachtig en werd heel goed schoongehouden.

Come l'anno scorso, così anche questa volta, è stata un'esperienza davvero soddisfacente. Siamo stati in una casina in mezzo alla natura. L'alloggio è ben attrezzato e pulito. La piscina è compresa. Pierluigi è un vero professionista dell'accoglienza. Ci è piaciuto fare colazione e cena all'esterno (possibile con citronella e repellente anti zanzare). Uno spettacolo. Il posto è strategico per visitare la Garfagnana.

Wunderschöner Ort für einen ruhigen Urlaub mit tollen Gastgebern

Grandioser Ort um einen ruhigen und doch aktiven Urlaub zu verbringen. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Fahrradtouren und sightseeing. Die Gastgeber sind super herzlich und freundlich und kümmern sich super um die Gäste. Die Häuser sind simpel aber schön eingerichtet. Der Spot ist einmalig und der Pool mit Salzwasser ist einfach traumhaft.

Es gibt nicht wirklich etwas zu bemängeln. Die Stühle in der Küche könnten komfortabler sein, war aber auch okay.
