Beautiful hotel in Garfagnana

This is a uniquely beautiful hotel in a fort right on the square of Camporgiano. The rooms were perfect and Manola made the stay so comfortable for us and our 1 year old son. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. The location is perfect to explore Garfagnana.

Luxury in Beautiful Location

Wonderfully furnished and decorated historic building with all comforts taken care of. The property commands majestic views over the beautiful countryside. The staff are very accommodating- nothing is too much trouble.

Stunning and worth every penny

I cannot recommend this stunning property in the heart of Garfagnana highly enough. Manola and her team go far and beyond to make you feel that Kings and Queens in this beautiful and magical part of Italy. Peaceful and luxurious. The jacuzzi with the views is breathtaking and the breakfast was outstanding. Everything is lonely grown and produced. I can go on forever about how beautiful this place truly is.

We loved everything about our stay at La Rocca, Camporgiano! The warmth and kindness of the hostess and staff made us feel completely at home. We were treated to an informative and personal tour of the castle, learning about its rich history and the family behind it. The home-cooked meals, made with fresh, local produce, were a highlight—sharing them with other guests created a lovely, intimate atmosphere. The town’s market and the ceremony honoring local farmers were wonderful, and we enjoyed the folk music and dancing that added to the festive spirit. The surrounding area is beautiful, with scenic hikes, castles, and caves to explore. It truly felt like a perfect getaway.

No good Air Condition, I will not come again.

Nice location

The air condition is NOT working well, It is ONLY a de-humidity system! Prepare to sweat at night if it is hot outside, as it was in our case in the middle of July.

Parola d'ordine : lasciatevi guidare dalla proprietaria ! farà da guida nella dimora e vi racconterà i suoi segreti, prenoterà per voi in deliziosi agriturismi e proporrà appaganti escursioni e sagre . Camere curate e spaziose con vista sui tetti della Garfagnana. La mattina sarete coccolati con una colazione super abbondante con prodotti a KM zero . Nel pomeriggio abbiamo approfittato per fare una passeggiata tra vigneti e castagneti. Per la conclusione della vacanza visita al caseificio Marovelli con assaggi e storie di paese raccontate dal proprietario e acquisto carne e prodotti di stagione all' agriturismo il Grillo. Vacanza Super !!!

Oltre al posto che è meraviglioso penso che le foto parlino da sole ciò che mi ha colpito è stata l'estrema disponibilità dello staff che ha fatto di tutto per venire incontro alle nostre esigenze anche più di quanto fosse necessario

l'unica pecca era il posto auto non proprio sotto ma un po' staccato (pochi minuti ma in salita) ma anche li ti aiutano in tutti i modi con il bagaglio ecc quindi anche questo non si è rivelato chissà che problema

Spettacolare

Tutto. Questo posto è fantastico. È una antica rocca ristrutturata con grande gusto. Le camere sono bellissime ed enormi. Il letto comodissimo. La pulizia impeccabile. I servizi al top, tra la golf car con cui ti vengono a prendere, all'aperitivo in giardino. La colazione squisita con prodotti del posto ed una vista mozzafiato. Il personale gentilissimo e alla mano. Grazie davvero anche se siamo stati una sola notte. Consiglio davvero questo posto magico anche per un soggiorno più lungo.
