Fabulous and spectacular

Everything!!!! Truly and deeply I can recommend this place. Casa Gianfrati is located in very friendly and quaint little mountain town. Very friendly people with smile in their faces. If you are looking for place to relax, far from crowded and busy places, this is the place for you. The house itself is absolutely stunning. Built in 1882 in old Italian style from this area. Hot days are not a problem, you have a lovely pool to plunge and swim in. There are some lovely walk on the mountain side. We spent 10 days here and every single one was unique. Not far from the picturesque Lucca. Everyone says Florence is most famous and important pace to visit in Tuscany. I sad you better go to Lucca 😎. Sea cost is also not far. Forte dei Marmi gives Monte Carlo vibes. To say a little bit about the owner, he is like a cherry on the top, truly stand-up guy, any situation. Thank you so much Paolo for giving us the chance to spend holiday in your house. Grazie Mille!

Beatiful old house in the heart of the the greenest treasure of Tuscany, Garfagnana

Casa Gianfrati is a beatiful old building with its own character and a stunning view of the mountains. Our apartment was very cute, spacious, with cozy rooms and comfortable beds; a huge balcony was also at our disposal. A nice addition to all that was a small outdoor pool. The building itself has other extras, like gym and sauna, though we did not have enough time to check it out). Casa Gianfrati is situated in Corfino, which is an absolutely amazing village in the wild green of the Garfagnana. It can feel a bit challenging to get there for the first time, if you are not used to narrow Italian serpentines and are driving late in the night, but otherwise the roads in the region are so beautiful and packed with cozy villages and various attractions. Upon the booking, Paolo, the host, sent us a long email with all the details about the building, the services, key collection, Wi-Fi and a full list of recommendations about the places to visit, both the closest ones and those which are far away, including the driving time. The kitchen is fully equipped, though some items can be lacking and the equipment set needs to be refreshed a bit.

No dealbreakers at all if you are planning a countryside vacation or a retreat: can be a bit too long drive to the nearest cities or beaches (although the views from the roads leading to the sea are breathtaking).

Everything! All was great: Corfino, the surroundings, the house, the swimming pool, the local contact (Martina), the little private playground

Just the washing machine was missing, it would have been handy traveling with a child

Great house, location staff and facilities. beds not good.

The location was beautiful! The appartment was also great and the pool and garden made the experiance very pleasant. On top of that the host and staff were very helpful and friendly.

The beds should really be replaced. although the style of the beds fit perfectly in the rest of the appratment they are very uncomfartable. they are not very long, the matresses are too old and the frames are very unstable and noisy.

The location was perfect and beautiful! The view from the terrasse breath-taking, especially by sunrise and sunset. The host was extremely friendly and responsive. We just loved the place

Exceptional

The house is amazing, with a beautiful garden and a tiny but confortable swimming pool. After hours of trekking on the "Pania di Corfino" mountain, it was a relief to bathe in the swimming pool. We were in the little apartment just in the garden. A comfortable room for the kitchen and the sofa, with television, and a small but comfortable bedroom. Corfino is a good choice in order to visit Garfagnana and Alpi Apuane.

Una de las habitaciones tenía dos camas que no eran adecuadas para personas adultas, las camas eran muy pequeñas, la habitación no tenía calefacción. La instalación eléctrica es muy antigua y muy peligrosa. También nos han cobrado el combustible de la calefacción.

Fantastisk unik miljö med alla faciliteter. Läget i Corfino hade inte kunnat vara bättre. Vi var här med barn och barnbarn 8 vuxna och 8 barn.
