Warm and hospitable stay in a lovely home.

First of all, the innkeeper greeted us with a warm fire, a pot of tea, and a tin of biscuits, which waa lovely because the drive from Belfast waa grueling in the rain. It set the tone for the stay. The breakfast was outstanding. Best rendition of an Irish Breakfast I have ever had.

I wish we had a few more days to stay, but sadly this was our last night in Ireland. It was perfect in every way.

A perfect homely getaway

Ann was a fantastic hostess, the room was comfortable and came with all the appropriate amenities. She went above and beyond to organise our breakfast and make sure every need was attended to. We were at a wedding in Ballymagarvey village and the Location of this BnB made it an ideal stay

Stone lodge a perfect hideaway retreat

My husband and I attended a wedding at Ballymagarvey. The Stone Lodge was conveniently located across the street! Perfect location for people that attend that venue. Hosts Ann and Jenny were engaging and attentive to all our needs. They gave us great recommendations for local dining options which was extremely helpful The Breakfast provided was delicious. They served their homemade jams and bread. The pancakes were delicious. After breakfast we walked around the grounds to check out the fresh vegetable gardens and orchards. Room itself had a private bathroom and was set up as a cosy retreat.

OK stop for one night

The owner, Ann, was an excellent host! Her B&B is in a charming old home. Breakfast was custom made for us.

Price was rather high for a small room with shared bath. Fortunately we were the only guests so we did have the bath to ourselves. Location is right on a busy road so as much as we enjoyed the gardens it was quite noisy and not an ideal place to sit outside.

Fully met our requirements as we were attending a wedding a venue closeby.

Breakfast was excellent, cooked to perfection with lovely home baked soda / brown bread with home made jams.

Bathroom facility was not ensuite in the room we selected. Room was small but bed was very comfortable

Outstanding B&B, Anne made us feel so welcome and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing. It was only a 10 minute walk to Ballymagarvey Village wedding venue and we could check in before the ceremony to get changed, which was the main reason we chose it. I would recommend it to anyone.

What a wonderful place to stay. Anne, the proprietor, was incredibly helpful and friendly and she is an amazing cook to boot! The room was a good size with a king-size bed that was really comfortable and an ensuite bathroom.

Amazing & will defo be back 🤩

What an absolute treasure! This b&b is exceptional. The hosts couldn’t do any more for us. The food is so delicious & all freshly baked. The house itself is quiet & in a great location if attending a wedding at Ballymagarvan village. There is an amazing restaurant not too far up the road called the Snailbox. The gardens around this b&b are fantastic & so well maintained with lots of home grown fruit & veg.

Great, well located B and B

Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The room was spotlessly clean and the property was well located for seeing Bru Na Boinne and other sights in the area. Anne was a gracious and responsive hostess and provided clear directions for how to get to the property. I would definitely recommend this property.
