I travelled alone and felt very safe at the location.
I walked to and from the race course.
Police station just around the corner and neighbour in flat downstairs.
Its quirky. LOVED the big bath! host communication and help excellent.
I needed a long stay car park and with the train station being closed, ended up miles away.
A little noisy with traffic and neighbours.
Front entrance does not do the property justice.

It was a nice cozy property with everything you could need. Nice comfy bed, excellent shower and comfortably close to the city.
I didn’t like paying the additional insurance and think this should be covered by the owner, an additional cost that had not been catered for when looking at prices. The path from the pavement to the property is very slippy and dangerous when wet, it just needs sweeping on a regular basis. The filters above the cooker need a good clean, we didn’t use the dishwasher but I have the same at home and they are fine if dish washed.

Die Lage ist recht gut, vor der Stadtmauer und nahe der Bischy Road und Ouse.
Sie ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Fotos in der Anzeige sind schon etwas älter. Eine Neumöblierung wäre bald mal dran. Sie war nicht sonderlich sauber ( Bad). Man muss eine Hebühr bezahlen um sich verifizieren zu lassen.

Excellent location within walking distance to the city centre.
Well equipped and very clean and tidy
Bed was very comfortable.
Wouldn’t class it as a romantic apartment. It’s functional and a good base for exploring York but wouldn’t stay here if the trip had been for a romantic breakaway.
There really needs to be a mind the step sign going into the bathroom.
