Lovely and comforting. Very clean and Claire was very welcoming. Great comfortable room and very clean. Breakfast was amazing.
Had everything you could want in a room including mini fridge, hairdryer, fan for the hot weather and iron and ironing board on the landing if needed.
Plenty of room (no 9) and a desk to work from.
I travel and stay over in Sleaford a couple of times a year for work. First time at The Mallards and have already rebooked for my next visit.
Some other places may be more modern, stylish and have new furniture but this place just has a warm comforting feeling and most importantly I felt safe. The is just so comfortable and TV bigger than mine at home.
Only downside was that I couldn’t open the window (first floor, sash windows so possibly for safety?) and even though I had a perfectly functioning fan did feel a bit stuffy but I have an open window even in the winter so possibly just me.
I’m also a lady of a certain age!
