Staff were super helpful and friendly. Good location. Building and style has lots of character. Room was a great size. Even though it's above the bar, we weren't kept awake. Breakfast was great! Tea and coffee provided.
A mini fridge would have been useful but not essential.

Quirky pub with friendly staff. Room was clean and thoughtful.
The room was very dark which made it difficult to do my makeup. Breakfast was very slow & when it arrived my egg was so over cooked with no runny yolk. I know it’s personal preference, but I don’t eat spread, so would rather have butter.

The breakfast was excellent. I had a twin-bed room on my own. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept well. The decor and fittings had obviously been done as cheaply as possible, using what was available and the back wall was painted 'wriggly tin!
There were a few minor problems, the wash basin plug did not fit and there were no teaspoons for example, but overall it provided what was required for my short one-night stay.
