would have been very good apart from the onsite buildng works

Nice location, easy to park, clean and modern rooms,ease of access to the public house, hearty breakfast

workman in the loft space above the room hammering ,etc on arrival for 90 minutes until we spoke to staff. builders on site intererrupted the ambience of the premises and location. some issues with bathroom identified to the staff on leaving

We felt like home and we've been extremely spoiled. We decided to return as we really loved our stay in the hotel. Dinners we're also ok 👌 not a huge variety but I think is something for everyone

Overall the room was a good size and clean just detailing, duvet cover had holes in it and sealant in what was a smart shower room needs replacing.

Great little hotel & pub! The food was delicious - both dinner and breakfast! The bed was comfy, room was clean and spacious and the shower had great water pressure!

Charming and extremely comfortable venue and room!

Set in a nice village, it’s a charming, warm and friendly place. Our room (11) was outstanding with an amazingly comfortable bed.

Nothing of any significance. My only, very small, suggestion would be to have a few more towel hooks dotted around the voluminous bathroom.

Great stay, will stay again when going to Cranwell

Lovely property, really nice country pub attached. Bed comfortable, clean room, nice shower. I like the fact there are wooden floors as could see it was clean. Dog friendly - dog owners for info; you need to book the executive room to bring your dog. Staff super nice to our dog Honey. There was a gift bag waiting for her and she had a sausage at breakfast. Thank you …. Great breakfast, really nice! Staff really pleasant and friendly. Ideal location for RAF Cranwell visits. Definitely have food in restaurant next time and will visit and stay again.

I’m sorry but it was cold when we arrived, heating off. However, there is an electric heater we used as we was bitter cold especially after walking the dog through the village.

The staff are not particularly friendly, its forced politeness, particularly at breakfast, and a simple order is not correct. Just uncomfortable, they put up with us rather than make us welcome

Overall a very comfortable stay with a lovely breakfast

There were some other guests who seemed to think that the rest of the hotel were very interested in their 'amazing' lives. One lady in the next door room was droning on about herself at about ninety decibels until gone midnight. We also had to endure the bore at breakfast the next day!

Great place to stay near Sleaford.

The location was rural & peaceful, but it wasn't very far away from larger towns & tourist attractions. The staff were friendly & very accommodating (my husband uses a wheelchair), they literally couldn't have been nicer/more helpful. We will definitely be back!

The breakfast was quite disappointing and not enjoyable. The rooms were extremely noisy — I could hear everything from the surrounding rooms and was woken up early by noise from next door. Additionally, the rooms felt very dated and could really use some renovation. The communal doors were also noticeably dirty,

Good stay for a business overnighter

As the sun was shining we had breakfast outside, Good location for where we needed to go. Nice walk nearby that the bar staff told us about and nice food.

We were on the ground floor in the annexe as we had a dog. Windows could have done with restrictor stays as didn’t feel safe having them open at night and it was warm. Window design was side hinge so could do either a top opening section. Shower head was set too low in bath and not adjustable.

Quiet location - please note this is not close enough to Sleaford to be classed as Sleaford due to its rural location. Needs a car or a taxi.

Walls are quite thin in the executive annexe. Can hear everything in neighbouring rooms, even across the hallway.

The Finch Hatton hotel was everything we wanted.

Like the location in a quiet area and the overall style of the hotel and facilities.

The front staircase might be a slight challenge for some especially if a suitcase is heavy but there is an alternative staircase.

A relaxing stay in a clean and friendly environment with a lovely breakfast before I left.

The room was very clean and tidy. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good with plenty of selection. Couldn’t fault the stay. Would definitely stay there again if I’m ever in the area.
