lovely small hotel in beautiful country setting, staff were courteous and friendly. breakfast was very good and we had a lovely dinner on the Saturday evening. the food was good value and excellent.
floors creaked a lot at night as it's an old building. this is not a complaint.

Love the location and the food is excellent
Third time i’ve stayed and enjoyed each visit but the room this time was definitely the worst. Bit tired and floorboards ridiculously noisy, kettle not able to be plugged in safely unless on the floor. Also the noise from the vent right outside the window was irritating until it was switched off when the kitchen closed. Fire alarm going off twice. in the middle of the night didn’t help!!

The room was nice, spacious and comfortable. Evening meal very good but the breakfast was excellent.
TV was a nightmare to use had to get staff to show how to operate - we gave up. There was a security light which shone very brightly on the (19) bedroom window and stayed on all night not conducive to sleep.
