We came to town to see Ko Joy.

Location was great.

The cleanliness! Our room had long black hair everywhere and it didn’t appear to have not been cleaned. There was dust everywhere, in the corners of the room. The bathroom was very dirty. Sadly, we will find another hotel our next trip to Knoxville.

Strong air fresheners make me sick.

I requested a fragrance free room. This was one of the strongest smelling rooms I’ve ever had. If you have air fresheners and you cannot remove them, be honest so that you don’t hurt people who need fragrance free accommodations.

We got in at midnight and “dealt” with the situation but next time I will not

The sheets are so extremely thin , the pillows are worn out and there was no blanket. We got there very late and the front desk was kind enough to get us some fresh sheets for a room that was not really ready for guests. When we got into bed we realized we were in for a long cold night because the bedding was horrible. We did not complain to the desk because she was already so sweet by fitting us in.

The bedding is awful and super cheap and thin. The bath towels are like drying off with a Kleenex. Step up the quality of the linens

The bed was very comfy , the pillows - just the way I like it, not some chunky cheap stuffing in it . Nice room ! Good shower! Very sweet older lady , who kept filling up breakfast food ! She was fantastic ! So genuinely caring !

Loved it for most part—-staff could be more on top of things in lobby/bfast area!!

Felt safe, room was nice/clean—-loved there was a Peloton (I miss mine when not home!!) 🙂 loved dog water bowl/welcoming for pets—-I didn’t have our foodie with me, but surely loved the hotel’s stance with that!!

Front staff seemed more interested in her phone than in customers!! Trash cans at bfast were overflowing and cups setting on cans—-stayed that way till I checked out at 11!! Large amy of coffee spilled on floor in front of front desk was there when I went down……..I ate breakfast, rode Peloton 30 min, took shower—-dried hair/dressed and checked out. Seemed like staff not interested in cleaning lobby!! And—-I had difficulty finding how to get to hotel/thru Starbucks parking lot!?!? GPS took me, but it looked/seemed odd and on a very busy road was confusing!! Could use signage!!

I would like a refund!

The hotel's computer reservation system was inoperable when I attempted to make a reservation, so they referred me to booking.com, which charged me an exorbitant fee over the special South College rate. The hotel reservation clerk said the manager could correct the overcharge. When I arrived, the manager said she could not make changes to the rate since it was set on booking.com, even though booking.com was where the local hotel clerk had told me to go due to their system problems.

there was a dog barking a couple rooms Down the entire time we were there. My daughter spilled some water on the floor pretty much as soon as we got into our room. when i cleaned it up the cloth was very dirty which made me wonder if the floor had been cleaned.

As of April 29, 2025 I am still trying to get a refund for days that I did not reserve.

Staff was friendly.

I made reservations in January for a trip in March. I made a modification to my trip and the updated information was not given to the hotel. I have tried for the last month to get my refund of almost $350. I keep getting the run around and no money has been issued back to my account. I have never experienced such in my life.

Conveniently located close to where we were visiting. I liked the lemon hand soap!

Our rooms a/c unit was very loud when it came on. So loud you could not hear the tv. The window shade in the room was damaged. There were ants in the bathroom so we waited to shower at our next stop! I am in a wheelchair and there was an active leak in the hallway leading to my room. They put warning signs up that the floor was wet that made it hard for me to get to my room! Was definitely not a good value at $200 a night!
