About this chalet rental
The chalet is on the beautiful Glan Gwna Holiday Park, which is very close to Snowdonia and also there are beaches not to far away, there are plenty of activities in the area,
Decking and seating areas to front and garden to the rear. Set in a secluded wooded valley with private fishing lakes and river, the Holiday Park has a heated swimming pool, during the summer months, as well as a shop, cafe and pool-side bar. Fishing licences can be obtained from the site office.
Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, as well as families.
Electricity supply
Prepayment for the chalet electricity is by means of cards, which can be purchased from the shop or park reception. The meter will be at least £10.00 in credit on your arrival and there is a facility for £5 emergency credit on the meter. Please ensure that the same credit is on the meter when you vacate.
Pool and Play Area
The outdoor pool, close to the gated play area, is seasonal, heated to a comfortable temperature from May half term to the end of summer holidays, during which time it is always staffed by a pool attendant.
The children’s play area is well-equipped with modern climbing frames, slides, swings and toddler play equipment. This area is gated, fenced and features safety matting throughout.
Laundry facilities
Coin-operated laundry and drying machines are available on-site, close to the pool area.
Shop and Bar / Restaurant
Also close to the pool area are the shop and the bar / restaurant, which has free WiFi in the adult-only and family lounges. During the main season, the bar is open daytimes and evenings, seven days a week and offers a choice of home-cooked snacks, lunches and evening meals, with a weekly menu and takeaway options. Please be aware that there are more restricted opening hours during the quieter months, typically from Thursday across the weekend. Please enquire and we can let you know any opening times.
Fishing
Daily fishing permits can be purchased at Reception for Glan Gwna’s own coarse fishing lake, and the river Seiont that flows through the park. Anglers can enjoy carp, trout and salmon fishing.
A second private fishing lake at nearby Pentir, is aimed at expert anglers with the opportunity to fish for carp, roach, rudd and bream.
A rod licence is required.
Guest access
You will have use of the entire private, detached chalet. The entrance door is accessed by a long ramp, with no steps or stairs.
The pool is shared with the Holiday Park and is only heated in the summer months.
During the winter months, the Pool Bar is only open at weekends
