About this bed and breakfast

Buil in 1925 by my aunt's father in law , a notary in Genoa. His apartment and office , LE STANZE DEL NOTAIO is now a bb with several rooms. The ORANGE ROOM is a 13 m2 room, with a large single bed , m 120 large, possibility of adding a rollaway bed. Desk and wardrobe, shared bathroom.
Historical building and apartment located in a very commercial and lively area , 6 km away from the City Center , 15 min away by bus

I guess the location is decent, in Sampierdarena, few minutes from train station, public buses and supermarkets. However, the noise level from traffic outside made our stay unbearable. It’s impossible to sleep despite earplugs will reduce the noise. The room(s) only have a fan so the heat in summer also becomes a problem. It was like sleeping in a bungalow in south east Asia with paper walls. However, all the amenities are here, kitchen, fridge, microwave, a spacious terrace etc. And the host is friendly and helpful too.
