Great stay, we would totally book Lillevik again.

We had a great short stay, wished we had an extra couple days. Beautiful house and area, Christian was very nice, they had everything we needed.

Not a big deal, but good to know the house water is on well system. They had provided a couple 5 gal jugs of water when we arrived.

Paradise in the Lofoten

The location can’t be beat: it was perfect. Having a private beach was amazing. The house feels really cozy and authentic, with a well-equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms. A great spot to explore the upper Lofoten.

The stairs to the upper floor are a bit squeaky, which was tricky when some of us wanted to go to bed while others stayed up a little longer to enjoy the midnight sun. A negligible downside in an otherwise excellent stay!

Very nice and clean house, very well equiped, central location in Lofotoen, excelent communication to the hosts/landlords, highly recommended.

One of the rooms a bit small for 2 adults, second shower would be preferable if 7 or 8 adults are sleeping.

Exceptional

Lillevik is perfection. The cabin is an oasis of calm in the beautiful rugged wilderness of Lofoten. We booked Lillevik as a base to see the Northern lights and we were lucky to see them every night from the cabin ifself. It was a truly unforgettable holiday. The cabin itself is beautiful. It was newly renovated by our hosts Martine and Christian. We really enjoyed looking at the picture book of their renovation. They created something beautiful and we are so grateful that they allowed us to share their paradise. Lillevik is clean, spacious, comfortable, has breathtaking views, is warm and practically equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the panoramic windows, the wood burner and we also appreciated the additional comforts they provided like the crocs 😊. We are planning to return soon

Impressive place and location,

The house and amenities are impeccable, as well as the location and view. It is small yet very spacious, 4 bedrooms, big dining table, great living room space and beautiful views, basement, mud room and the table outside are a plus. Will come back on the next occasion. Everything is well documented and they provide amazing trip suggestions.

Our stay at Lillevik was quite exceptional and idyllic in every way!

Our stay at Lillevik was quite exceptional. The location was AMAZING, the house was very clean, the house was very quaint and they had done such a good job refurbishing the property. The view was amazing from the house, the information provided was good, and the response from the host was quick. We saw eagles and porpoises from the living room window in the bay outside. Just idyllic in every way, and are already considering when we can come back. Gimsøy was a lovely island with a little local "landhandel" or shop, with a beautiful old church by a beautiful beach that is well worth visiting, and much much more.

Basically there was very little we didn't like, but here are two things: 1) There was a great binder with information at the house. It would have been good to receive that in the welcome email prior to the trip that included a lot of other information, as the information in that binder was very good. 2) We had problems using the stove, and as the host assured us, it should be fixed for future guests.

Tout! La maison est tout simplement remarquable, le cadre est exceptionnel. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits, le premier soir nous avons pu voir le soleil de minuit , le second nous avons pu apercevoir de petits dauphins nager devant la maison. La maison est à côté d’une plage très sympa, et du mont Hoven .

Sehr erholsam in einer intakten Natur in einen tollen Haus.

Ein wunderschönes Retrohaus, dass vor ein paar Jahren liebevoll und mit sehr guter Ausstattung renoviert wurde.

Die Treppe zum Obergeschoss wäre für gehbehinderte etwas steil.
