An excellent fishing cabin style property with a beautiful view.

Very cosy and comfortable cabin that gives you the perfect Norwegian fishing village experience. Also, the view from the windows is gorgeous! The check-in process was also very smooth, and the hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly.

The walk to the city centre (20 minutes) can get a little tough if it’s extremely cold. But not a big deal, it can be managed.

Lovely two bedroom cabin right on the water. Felt private and kitchenette was great for cooking during our winter nights. Central in the Lofoten Islands.

Tranquil and beautiful spot…

Everything about this stay felt like paradise. The cabin was absolutely lovely—warm, cozy, and beautifully set in one of the most charming and picturesque areas I’ve ever visited. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, and the surrounding landscape was breathtaking from every angle. It was the kind of place that instantly makes you exhale and feel at home. I truly loved every moment here.

After the reviews we read, we were underwhelmed. We had the cabin in the car park with no water views - which was just horrible luck I think - but it made the bad weather and smaller room feel deflating.

Dreamy stay on the tip of the island. Perfection.

Our rorbu was the sweetest space. We settled in and felt right at home. The staff was very welcoming and we appreciated the bike rentals. This was our favorite part of the trip.

We would definitely return in the future.

We enjoyed staying in a traditional rorbuer. Our unit was right over the water and offered stunning views of the mountains and ocean. The kitchen was well equipped and saved us a lot of expense given the high cost of restaurants. The walk to the center of town took about 15 minutes and passes very close to the famed football stadium. We had great weather and appreciated the opportunity to stretch our legs a few times a day.

The view from our cabin was lovely

The location is far from everything in Henningsvaer, not really walking distance. The rooms were stuffy, beds are really tiny and living area is much smaller than expected - it looked bigger in the photos. We stayed in other bigger cabins with better facilities at a lower rate in Lofoten.

Picturesque location.

We didn't actually get to stay here due to a double booking. We were sent to / upgraded (@ no cost to us) to another accommodation near by and it was very good. Communication from Henningsvaer Rorbuer was excellent and the 'transfer' was arranged with care and consideration.

Traditional Fishermans cottage in a quiet location.

Loved staying in the traditional fishermen's huts. They are very quaint and offer all you need for a comfortable stay. Our room had 5 beds and plenty of living space. We had a nice view and a great quiet night away from town.

Beautiful stay, friendly neighborhood, complete kitchen, a room to wash the clothes… It was amazing.

Unfortunately there is no oven but that‘s not a big deal.

Location was perfect. The Rorbuer was very quaint and tidy.

if you visit Lofoten islands, then you must live the experience to book a cabin like Hennigsvaer Rorbuer. we stayed for 1 night, the cabin was magic and aurora was dancing outside all night long. very very beautiful place, clean and comfortable fully equipped with everything

Cozy cabin with sea view

Cabin was warm and had a sea view as promised. We went during the off peak season so it was very quiet. The staff there was responsive and helpful, even when we had a power outage, it was quickly fixed. The kitchen was fully equipped.

Unfortunately, we did not recieve the check in information prior to check in since the the reception was unmanned during our stay. We managed to get in touch with the 24/7 help line for check in, but it would also be good if we could receive information via email/booking.com/whatsapp to avoid international call charges.
